Sealed Expression of Interest (Technical & Financial in separate envelopes) to be submitted along with earnest money of Rs.50,000/- demand Draft in favour of Secretary, Chandigarh Carnival Society, Chandigarh. Event Management Companies/ Corporate/ Institutions having minimum three years experience in organizing such events may send Expression of Interest for following events:- 1. Entertainment Show (Live Performance) by one Eminent laughter challenge Artist i.e. Sudesh Lehri, Krishna, Kapil Sharma, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Rana Ranbir OR Bhagwant Maan, one Award winner singer from Talent Hunt at TV viz Toshi, Abhijeet Sawant, Rahul Vaidya, Raja Hasan, Harshad Saxena, Kamal Khan OR Purvi with dance troupe to perform on 22nd November, 2013. 2. The event management company which will seek minimum contribution from Chandigarh Carnival Society and manage maximum sponsorship to bear the expenditure on musical Nites shall be preferred. The Technical bid will be opened on same day at 03:00 PM in the presence of interested representative. Its passengers slowly alight and begin to disperse into the muggy evening air. I step down from the bus and look left and right, trying to get my bearings. This is only my second day in Bombay and my first to venture out of the old city center and into the Northern suburbs. I approach a small circle of bus drivers and ticket takers, all clad in loose-fitting brown shirts and pants. They point me in the direction of my destination, the JVPD grounds, and I join the ranks of people marching west along a dusty, narrowing road. Before long, we are met by a colorful procession of drummers and dancers honoring the goddess Durga through thundering music and vigorous dance. The procession is met with little more than a few indifferent glances by tired workers walking home after a long day and grueling commute.

Dept. of Journalism and Mass Communication Doaba College, Jalandhar Abstract The Punjabi film industry is currently in its growth stage. The Punjabis in the Diasporas gave a new dimension to the Punjabi identity. It has brought a massive boost in the cinema and film music. Pollywood in the North Indian film industry is commercial and art cinema Punjabi is in its initial stage. Producers target just clientele and seldom take the risk. Crisp comedy films overpower an experiment in production, rare themes and different genres. The research did a descriptive analysis with the support of unstructured and semi- structured interviews of producers, actors, and Pollywood directors. The research also explores the need and importance of film institute and film clubs to sensitize the Punjabi audiences regarding the film as a medium, film grammar, and aesthetics. The research also focused on the marketing trends and the vital role of social media in multiplexes' age. Pollywood also lacks in skills and availability of high-end studios for post-production. Indirect taxes and expensive multiplex as a hindrance to attracting rural audiences to remote areas in Punjab. Keywords: Pollywood, Diasporas, multiplex, approach, revival. Introduction Punjab of North India is the most fertile land it also called Sapta Sindhu in 'Vedas'. Agriculture is the main occupation in Punjab. Hard working Punjabis as community adapt to changing condition and adjust a lot faster than others. A considerable amount of literature and Vedas originated in Punjab.
