Adoption of 2006 AGM Minutes MOTION: Alby Nuich / Mike Wrenn CARRIED Previous minutes were a true and accurate record 3. President’s Address Thank you to all involved in SSWA for 2006. Thanks to the office staff and all volunteers. The President’s report was distributed in the Annual Report. 4. Director’s Report Thanks to office staff for all of their efforts in 2006. Ian Temby officially retires later this year. New management structure is operating but still tweaking the meeting days and setup. International tour was sent to South Africa last year with Narrogin SHS sending 2 Netball teams. 5. Annual Financial Report and Balance Sheet Financial statement and letter from the Auditor was distributed to all in attendance. All books are at the auditors and are waiting auditing. Thanks to Christine Sheen for all of her efforts. Update attaché to the next version. Service Agreement is now a 3 year agreement – to be reviewed annually 6. I w ould like to acknow ledge the Life Members that are present today. I am involved in this organisation on a voluntary basis like all teachers because I believe in the achievement of healthy and active lifestyles for students in our schools through sport. SSWA is a vehicle that provides a framew ork of choices that presents students w ith quality opportunities. We as members of SSWA should use every opportunity that presents itself to promote SSWA and reinforce the values of teamw ork, leadership, self-confidence and the pursuit of excellence. School Sport WA (SSWA) has enjoyed a successful year w ith a number of innovations in management and program challenges that have added value to our product of quality competitive sport to students in all WA school. I w ould personally like to thank all Sports Convenors, Sports Coordinators and their committees and acknow ledge their hard w ork, dedication and effort throughout the year in helping present our programs for students. APPLICATION These State & Territory Tribunal Guidelines (Guidelines) apply to Australian Football State Leagues (and other leagues at the discretion of Controlling Bodies) conducted or administered by one of the following Controlling Bodies: (a) NSW/ACT: AFL (NSW/ACT) Commission Ltd ACN 086 839 385; (b) NT: AFL Northern Territory Limited ACN 097 620 525; (c) QLD: AFL Queensland Limited ACN 090 629 342; (d) SA: South Australian National Football League Inc ABN 59 518 757 737; (e) TAS: Football Tasmania Limited ACN 085 213 350; (f) Victoria: Australian Football League (Victoria) Limited ACN 147 664 579; (g) WA: West Australian Football Commission Inc ABN 51 167 923 136. A Controlling Body may, at its discretion, apply part or all of these Guidelines to additional leagues conducted or administered by, or affiliated with, that Controlling Body. Where these Guidelines are adopted by a Controlling Body, the players, coaches, officials, spectators, administrators and any other people reasonably connected to that Controlling Body (and the applicable State League or other league) will be required to comply with these Guidelines. 2 2.
