2019 U.S. Political Contribution and Expenditure Policy and Statement The Company’s policy is to participate in public policymaking by informing government officials about our positions on issues significant to the Company and our customers. These issues are discussed in the context of existing and proposed laws, legislation, regulations, and policy initiatives, and include, for example, commerce, intellectual property, trade, data privacy, transportation, and web services. Relatedly, the Company constructively and responsibly participates in the U.S. political process. The goal of the Company’s political contributions and expenditures is to promote the interests of the Company and our customers, and the Company makes such decisions in accordance with the processes described in this political contribution and expenditure policy and statement, without regard to the personal political preferences of the Company’s directors, officers, or employees. Approval Process The Company’s Vice President of Public Policy reviews and approves each political contribution and expenditure made with Company funds or resources to, or in support of, any political candidate, political campaign, political party, political committee, or public official in any country, or to any other organization for use in making political expenditures, to ensure that it is lawful and consistent with the Company’s business objectives and public policy priorities. The Company’s Senior Vice President for Global Corporate Affairs and the Senior Vice President and General Counsel review all political expenditures. In addition, the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors annually reviews this political contribution and expenditure policy and statement and a report on all of the Company’s political contributions and expenditures, including any contributions made to trade associations or 501(c)(4) social welfare organizations. -
California SEIU Developmental Disabilities Council
California SEIU Developmental Disabilities Council 2015 First Quarter Update First Quarter Meeting Lanterman Coalition ‐ Budgetary Advocacy ‐ Catherine McCoy and David Mulvey have been representing the council on the Lanterman Coalition monthly meetings. We were successful this year in encouraging the Lanterman Coalition to adopt and promote a joint budget plan. Across the state we have been supporting the Lanterman Coalition 10% plan. On January 23rd our ARC SF members worked in concert with Golden Gate Regional Center and other local service providers to put on a successful rally in San Francisco is support of the campaign. The rally was covered by local media including KTVU Fox, and KCBS Radio. On March 4th we also participated in a large Lanterman Coalition Rally on the Capitol steps. Dave Mulvey was one of the speakers chosen to address the group. Later that day our members attended and gave testimony at the Assembly budget sub-committee hearings. On March 12th our members attended and gave testimony at the Senate Budget Sub Committee. California State Council on Developmental Disabilites – Employment First Committee. Dave Mulvey continues to represent us on this committee that has a legislative mandated to look at ways to increase employment for persons with Developmental Disabilities. Department of Developmental Disabilities Self-Determination Program Workgroup Dave Mulvey also represents us on this group, and continues to consult with SEIU Local and International staff on organizing opportunities this program may present and how to best structure the program. Health and Human Service Department’s Delivery Service Task Force: Catherine McCoy represents us on the task force. -

Support – As Introduced December 7, 2020 Dear Assembly Member Aguiar-Curry: On behalf of the California State Association of Counties (CSAC), representing all 58 counties in the state, I am pleased to support your AB 14, related to broadband and the infrastructure subsidies needed to deploy it more broadly. Inequitable access to broadband is a longstanding issue, but the COVID-19 pandemic’s effects on students, workers, small businesses, and everyday life has highlighted just how severe and urgent the disparity is. Bringing our infrastructure into the modern era is critical for all communities, whether or not providers consider them profitable. Addressing these issues will undoubtedly require additional resources to be available as soon as possible, so the additional funding AB 14 would authorize—as well as the authority to issue a revenue bond of up to $1 billion—is critically important. Counties also appreciate the explicit authority for Boards of Supervisors to approve the construction and operation of broadband infrastructure and services. For the aforementioned reasons, we support AB 14 and appreciate your efforts on this important issue. We would like to work with you and your co-authors as this bill moves forward to ensure it contains the reforms necessary to achieve the greatest good for the greatest number -

Summary Each year, Alameda CTC adopts a Legislative Program to provide direction for its legislative and policy activities for the year. The purpose of the Legislative Program is to establish funding, regulatory and administrative principles to guide Alameda CTC’s legislative advocacy. It is designed to be broad and flexible, allowing Alameda CTC to pursue legislative and administrative opportunities that may arise during the year, and to respond to political processes in the region as well as in Sacramento and Washington, D.C. Legislative, policy and funding partnerships throughout the Bay Area and California will be key to the success of the 2021 Legislative Program. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Andrew Bird 916.319.2011 March 15, 2018 Video: Assemblymember Frazier asks Budget Subcommittee for funding to expand employment opportunities for those with developmental disabilities http://bit.ly/2FMNqhi Frazier announces membership of Assembly Select Committee on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities SACRAMENTO – Assemblymember Jim Frazier (D-Discovery Bay) today announced the membership of the newly created Assembly Select Committee on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, which he chairs. “I am humbled by the overwhelming enthusiasm of my colleagues in the Assembly to serve on this committee and to support a community of Californians that historically has been underserved in the Legislature,” said Frazier, whose request to establish the Committee was recently approved by Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon. “The membership is bipartisan and as diverse as California itself. I look forward to the Committee’s first meeting and digging into issues that confront those with disabilities in our state." In addition to Frazier, the Select Committee’s 10 members are Democrats Autumn Burke, Evan Low, Jose Medina, Kevin Mullin, Blanca E. Rubio and Shirley N. Weber and Republicans Heath Flora, Brian Maienschein, Chad Mayes and Marie Waldron. Select committees do not hold hearings on pending legislation; they are informational only. “What we are going to do with this Select Committee is hold hearings throughout the state that thoroughly examine the challenges and needs of the approximately 625,000 Californians with I/DD, and take what we learn to formulate policy and craft future legislation,” said Frazier, who added he is hoping to hold the first Committee hearing as early as April. -

CALIFORNIA STATE ASSEMBLY Your Legislature Welcome to the California State Assembly—the people’s house. I will always remember my first visit to the Capitol as a youth for two reasons: a terrifying number of squirrels in the park and all the scaffolding and construction materials that were seemingly everywhere. It turns out my family and I were visiting during the 1970s restoration of the Capitol, which returned this magnificent building to its original greatness. While you are here, you have the opportunity to see democracy in action. You can view the Legislature in session from the galleries on the third floor or watch committees debate legislation. A copy of the Daily File, which lists the day’s legislative activities, can be obtained from the Bill Room in the Capitol basement, or accessed online at Assembly.ca.gov. Assembly.ca.gov also provides the history, text, and analysis of every bill, and includes biographies, press releases, committee memberships, and other information about Members of the Assembly. I hope your visit to the State Capitol is a reminder that your voice has an impact on crafting California’s laws. Members of the Assembly are elected for two-year terms, while Senators are elected for four-year terms, with one-half of the membership elected every two years.
