The new 22,500 square foot Hill Country Modern fraternity house was de- signed with the modern fraternity man in mind, including ample meeting, academic, athletic, and dining spaces, featur- ing 31 bedrooms each with private baths, at 2400 Leon Street in Austin’s West Campus neighborhood. The chapter occupied the new house in mid-August 2020. Built on property owned by the fraternity since 1950, the new house replaces a 10,000 square foot mid-century modern fraternity house which opened in 1952 on the site. “Texas has a large, well established, and robust Greek system.
