Boyd Chair, Academic Senate Mike Ward Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs David Daley, Interim Dean, College of Agriculture Dr. Dave Daley is a fifth-generation Butte County rancher and a 1978 graduate of CSU, Chico in animal science. Daley earned his master’s degree and PhD at Colorado State University. Daley is very active in campus and community service. He is the Young Cattlemen’s Association advisor. He was named Outstanding Academic Advisor and 2012 Butte County Farm Bureau Member of the Year and received the Continuing Service Award from the National Beef Improvement Federation. Daley is the first vice president of the California Cattlemen’s Association. He has conducted an active applied research program, receiving over $5 million in grants. Recently, Daley has become a state and national leader in animal welfare, conducting research and improving practices. Vincent Stephen Pellegri, Graduating Senior, College of Agriculture Vincent Pellegri is from the small town of Herald, southeast of Sacramento. He is majoring in agriculture with an option in agriculture science and education. He attended Butte College for two years before transferring to Chico State. His involvement within the Chico State community for the last three years has been extensive and varied. From work with Associated Students and Lambda Chi Alpha, and serving on the College of Agriculture dean search committee, he is thankful for the opportunity for leadership development on campus. He has a strong passion for traveling, learning, and education. He will move to San Francisco upon graduation to work for a learning and development firm. Eventually, he would like to be a high school agriculture teacher and use his experiences abroad and in urban settings to bring new perspectives into the classroom for his students. Keely Martin Bosler, 1997, College of Agriculture Keely Bosler serves as chief deputy director of the Department of Finance for Governor Jerry Brown. In this capacity, Bosler advises the Governor on the state budget and serves as the department’s lead contact with the state Legislature. Bosler has been the staff director for the Senate Budget and Fiscal Review Committee since 2010. Prior to that, she was the associate director for fiscal services at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitations. From 2004 to 2009, she was a Consultant to the Senate Budget and Fiscal Review Committee working on corrections, judiciary, natural resources, and environmental protection issues. Bosler started her career as a fiscal and policy analyst working at the Legislative Analyst’s Office in 2000. Less than half of these are large-scale operations. The majority are far from capital cities, have a small membership, a handful of boats, and modest facilities, but are strong in energy and heart. While the larger centres continue to expand and make a difference in their communities, the small centres are providing much needed variety to the lives of people with a disability that live in our regional areas. It was established in 1985 and operates under the Australian Sports Commission Act 1989. The Commission’s national leadership role is achieved through three operational divisions: the Australian Institute of Sport, Participation and Sustainable Sports, and Corporate Operations.
