RULES AND INFORMATION

1. CHS Sober Grad Night is a "zero tolerance" event. We strongly suggest that students bring only cell phones and a jacket. NO BULKY ITEMS, ALCOHOL, DRUGS, TOBACCO OR WEAPONS are allowed. Just like prom and Grad night, student’s belongings may be subject to search, contraband detecting canines will search jackets and bags, and Breathalyzers will be used to ensure an alcohol and drugfree celebration. 2. Parents will be required to pick up their student if he/she arrives or is found to be under the influence and/or in possession of alcohol or drugs. Students will not be allowed to board the bus and attend the event. If a parent cannot be reached, law enforcement may be contacted. 3. Only 2016 graduates from Carmel High School or Carmel Valley High School may attend. 4. Graduates must check in at the CHS Theater starting at 8:00PM. 5. The buses depart at 8:45 PM. If students are not checked in and by 8:45 PM, the buses will not be held until they arrive. 6. Every effort will be made to notify the parents if a preregistered graduate does not board the bus. Please be sure to provide the best number where you may be reached that evening. 7. Students must follow the CHS dress code. Casual attire and appropriate PJ’s are OK. 8. No graduate, regardless of age will be allowed to leave The Mystery Party venue, unless a parent/guardian is required to pick them up due to noncompliance with these rules – no student will be allowed to leave with another parent unless authorized above. Graduates may not be dropped off at the Mystery Venue; they must take the charter transportation provided. 9. Students will not be allowed to participate in this event unless the parent or guardian signs this permission slip/emergency form. 10. Your signatures specify student and parent/guardian agreement to all rules listed on this form, and by signing you additionally agree to hold harmless the CHS Sober Grad Night Committee and Padre Parents, and our volunteers & vendors from any and all liability, actions, causes of action, debts, claims, and demands of every kind and nature which may arise by, or in connection with, participation by the participant in any activities related to CHS Sober Grad Night. 11. DRIVING EXHAUSTED IS DANGEROUS. A parent or guardian is required to pick up each student. Adults authorized to pick up the student must be designated above if not the parent. Pick up will be approximately 4:30 AM at the CHS Theater. You may call either Gerard at 831402 0130 or Larry at 9176059 about 4:15 a.m. to confirm arrival time.
