Mettam to the Minister for Transport: I refer to your answer to Question on Notice No. 5386 and also to the answer of the Premier to Question Without Notice No. 570, in which the Premier stated, in relation to Metronet projects, “what we sent to the Commonwealth was a range of additional projects to the ones we took to the state election.... We sent to the commonwealth a whole bunch of new projects.”, and I ask: (a) Can the Minister detail each of the “range of additional projects to the ones (the Government) took to the state election” for which funding has been sought; (b) What is the total cost of each “new project”; (c) What does each “new project” entail; (d) How was each project prioritised; and (e) Will the Minister table the business case for each new project and if no, why?

5575. Mr D.T. Redman to the Minister for Transport; Planning: I refer to the movement of heavy agricultural machinery on local and state roads, and I ask: (a) Can the Minister list the accidents that have occurred as a direct result of heavy agricultural equipment being transported on local and state roads for each of the last 10 years: (i) Can the Minister list the nature of these accidents, including deaths for each of the last 10 years, with a breakdown between local and state roads; (b) Can the Minister list the fines that have been issued to those transporting heavy agricultural equipment on local and state roads for each of the last 10 years: (i) Can the Minister include the reason the fines were issued; (c) Have any fines been issued for breach of imposed holiday curfews (Christmas and Easter) over the last 10 years; (d) What has been the nature and mode of communication to the agricultural community in and around the rules of holiday curfews (Christmas and Easter) to ensure a clear understanding of the rules; (e) Can the Minister outline the annual costs of licensing for an agricultural pilot; and (f) Who regulates the training of agricultural pilots?

Redman to the Premier; Minister for Public Sector Management; State Development, Jobs and Trade; Federal-State Relations: I refer to the graph of total employed persons in WA on the WA Government website, and I ask: (a) As per information on this graph, what is the total jobs growth and the percentage jobs growth from 2007-2008 to 2016-2017: (i) What is the split between regional jobs and metropolitan jobs in this growth; (b) As per information on this graph, what is the predicted total jobs growth and the percentage jobs growth from 2016-2017 to the target set in 2023-2024: (i) What is the predicted split between regional jobs and metropolitan jobs in this growth; (c) Can the Premier provide a full breakdown of the jobs growth the government has reported since coming into government, including: (i) Regional and metropolitan split,; (ii) Public and private sector split, by regional and metropolitan split; and (iii) Proportion of jobs that are related to fixed government infrastructure contracts, by regional and metropolitan split; and (d) In relation to the jobs announced and created by the recent school maintenance and hospital maintenance investments, can the Premier confirm whether these numbers are included in the jobs target on the WA Government website: (i) If so, how does the Premier come to the conclusion that new jobs are created, rather than existing contractors utilising their staff, especially in regional WA?
