May 17 7-8pm Charles Clough : Excavating Art UB Art Gallery (2nd Floor), Center for the Arts co-founder CHARLES CLOUGH will excavate a Hallwalls relic — a massive collection of papers that formed a table-top on which visitors to his studio would doodle and write notes. Clough, who rolled the papers up and moved to NYC in 1978, will perform this excavation in the gallery conjunction with the Theoreti- cal Archaeology Group (TAG) conference at UB and his exhibition Charles Clough: The Way to Clufffalo (on view through May 19).
