Center St. Rochester, MN 55904 Jordan Lank, Director of Media Relations - (507)-289-1170 ROCHESTER HONKERS (4-21) vs ST. CLOUD ROX (16-10) Game #26 — Thursday, August 6, 2020 — Mayo Field — 6:35 p.m. CST RHP Charles Harrison (0-1, 10.95 ERA) vs. RHP Nick DeSalvo (0-1, 7.88 ERA) ABOUT LAST NIGHT... It was more of the same and less of the same in yesterday afternoon’s MINNESOTA/IOWA POD STANDINGS 4-3 walk-off loss to the Waterloo Bucks for the Rochester Honkers, TEAM W L PCT GB STR L10 who showed vast improvement from recent games in this historic 14-game skid, but ultimately couldn’t hold on. Tanner Cunha hurled Waterloo 20 10 .667 -- W2 7-3 his most impressive start of the season, dealing through 7.1 innings St. Cloud 16 10 .615 2.0 W6 8-2 and allowing just three runs. Cunha made it look easy, throwing only 76 pitches to get 22 outs before he was pulled by Deskaheh Bomberry Willmar 18 12 .600 2.0 L2 4-6 in the eighth with two on and one out. Jack Zalasky came on and did Mankato 12 17 .414 7.5 W2 5-5 what he does best: got out of the inning and stranded both runners. But, after coming back out for the ninth, Zalasky grooved a first-pitch Rochester 4 21 .160 13.5 L14 0-10 fastball to slugging first baseman Peyton Williams, who promptly deposited a walk-off home run over the right-center field wall.
