Incoming students are required to have a complete insuarance coverage throughout their stay in IIT Kanpur. IITK is well served by a conveniently located Health Centre. The doctors and staff of Health Insurance the Health Centre are committed to the health and well being of the campus community.The facilities are free of cost for exchange students.
The total cost of living for students in India is INR 5000-10000 per month. It will depend upon your Cost of living choice of accommodation(AC or Non AC).
Incoming students are taken care of by the International Office at their arrival (airport/train Arrival / Orientation station). Office of International Relations will also help them to settle in.
