Pamela Rothfield That the minutes of the Ordinary Meeting held on 17 April 2019 be confirmed. CARRIED Page 6 Minutes of Ordinary Meeting - 15 May 2019 Bass Coast Shire Council D Public Question Time D.1 Kevin Griffin, President Bass Coast Ratepayers and Residents Association - Live Streaming The officers report to Council June 2018 item H.9 Live Streaming Council Meetings, will Council provide to the community details as to the nature and cost of each item that was considered to comprise the estimated $2,500? Response: At the time of preparing the Report, Officers estimated the costs could vary dependant on the set up or variety of locations to film and broadcast from. It was estimated to allow up to $2,500. This figure included procuring an appropriate digital camera or cameras, tripod/s, cables and supporting computer software (to enable multiple camera simultaneous broadcast) and website hosting (ie Vimeo Pro or YouTube Premium) At the time camera kits such as Mevo Pro were considered which can retail up to $1,700 each depending on type of kit. Further allowances were considered for cables, tripods, devoted Wi-Fi dongle for internet connectivity and annual Video hosting. Have you considered how the approval of this type of development will set the precedence and change the character of the Kilcunda neighbourhood which is predominately low scale and modest dwellings with 7m height limits? 2. If so, what impacts do you envisage, positive and negative? Response: Cr Kent advised that Councillors would be making a decision on this planning application this evening as it is a matter before Council on the agenda.
