POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVES Possessive adjectives are my, your, our, his, her, its and their. are used before and function like adjectives. They qualify the nouns directly.

POSSESSIVE PRONOUNS

The forms – mine, ours, yours, his, hers, theirs- are used without the following nouns : They are called possessive pronouns. REMEMBER: A possessive pronoun is used without a noun. Examples are: his, hers, yours, theirs, ours, mine etc.
