The academic year 2015-16 has been an outstanding year for HR College. H.R. College has the distinction of being awarded as 'College with Potential for Excellence' by the UGC. Continuing with the tradition of creating crème de la crème, HR secured University Rankers in each and every degree course offered, with 7 University rankers in BMS and 6 in BCom. And as we continue to strive for excellence & achieve new heights it becomes that much more challenging to deliver & live up to the extemporary performance standards set for our institution. The college aims to achieve even higher standards of teaching and research by harnessing human and physical resources in innovative ways. Having attained high standards in teaching, research and extension activities the college plans to improve and strengthen its infrastructure that would help it in Dr. Indu Shahani attaining further higher academic standards. With the institution awarded with potential merit by the UGC it will work towards the realization of its full potential with committed academic community and adequate infrastructural facilities. HR College plans to adopt a learning management system where professors can upload all lectures on to a dashboard, as well as evaluate students online. A video conferencing system, to facilitate lectures from foreign professors, is also in the pipeline. Soon students will learn accountancy and taxation in a commerce laboratory, complete with software used in the real world with digitisation and classroom expansion.
