Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along:

Temporary Road Closures:

RS005866 - A359 Burts Hill To Nunney Catch Roundabout, Station Road, Church Street and The Street in the parish of Wanstrow from A359 Station Road, 260M from the junction with Church Street and The Street to A359 Burts Hill to Nunney Catch Roundabout, 225M from the junction with Church Street & The Street; including Church Street, 15M from the junction with the A359, to The Street, 15M from the junction with the A359, for a total distance of 570 metres.

RS005867 - A39 Hartlake Straight and Glastonbury to Wells Road in the parish of St Cuthbert Out from A39 Hartlake Straight, 220M North from the junction with the A39 Tin Bridge Roundabout to A39 Glastonbury to Wells Road, 895M North from the junction with Long Drove for a distance of 1420 metres.

RS005725 – Benedict Street in the parish of Glastonbury from the junction with Magdalene Street to 615M from the junction with Magdalene Street, a distance of 615 metres.

RS005868 - Abbey Farm Lane in the parish of Ditcheat from the junction with Kyte Lane to 70M from the junction with Kyte Lane, a distance of 70 metres.

RS005869 - Adderwell, Adderwell Road and Adderwell Close, in the parish of Frome from Adderwell Road, 35m south from the junction with Foster Road to Adderwell, 125m from the junction with Adderwell Close; including Adderwell Close, from the junction with Adderwell for a distance of 100m. A total distance of 225 metres.

RS005870 – B3151 Meare Road and Glastonbury Road in the parish of Glastonbury from B3151 Meare Road, junction with Dyehouse Lane to B3151 Glastonbury Road, 1190m north west from the junction with Back River Drove, a distance of 3335 metres.

RS005871 - Elliots Lane in the parish of Great Elm from the junction with Hapsford Hill to 360m from the junction with Hapsford Hill, a distance of 360 metres.

RS005872 - Long Cross Bottom and Mendip Road in the parish of Stoke St Michael from Long Cross Bottom, 315M South from the junction with Burges Hill to the junction with The Bridge, a distance of 630 metres.

RS005873 - Over Innox in the parish of Frome from the junction with Innox Hill to 72m from the junction with Innox Hill, a distance of 72 metres.

RS005874 – Rode Hill in the parish of Rode from the junction with the A361 Rode Common to the junction with the B3109 Bradford Road, a distance of 465 metres.

This Order will enable Somerset Highways to carry out phased preparation works and resurfacing works.

The Order becomes effective on 25th March 2021 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The phased works are expected to commence on 1st April 2021.
