THE CANNERY 2801 LEAVENWORTH | SAN FRANCISCO 5,225 SF - 12,000 SF AVAILABLE PROJECT HISTORY After the earthquake destroyed the California Fruit Cannery Association’s canning plant, the Cannery was re-built in 1906 and renamed the Del Monte Cannery. At the time it was the largest fruit and vegetable canning plant in the world producing 200,000 cans per day and employing 2,500 people. In 1963 Architects redesigned the historic brick Del Monte Cannery into a three-level walled city of brick walkways and bridges with retail, restau- rants, and entertainment venues. Today, The Cannery is owned by the Academy of Art and houses an expansive art gallery space along with shops and restaurants. The courtyard has 130 year old olive trees and is used year- round for special events and street performers. 2 | THE CANNERY THE CANNERY -3- THE CANNERY | 3 FEATURES SPACE A & B DETAILS: SPACE A GROUND FLOOR SIZE 5,970 SF - 12,000 SF FEATURES Excellent Visibility and Signage SPACE B Hard Corner Location 5,225 SF Former Nightclub GROUND FL0OR Potential Showroom/Event Space DETAILS: SPACE B SPACE A GROUND FLOOR 5,970 SF - 12,000 SF SIZE GROUND FL0OR 5,225 SF FEATURES 400-Year Old Oak Interior Ornate High Ceiling Outdoor Communal Courtyard Seating with Bar Existing Oversized Stone Fireplace Type 47 Liquor License Available Existing Kitchen in Good Condition 4 | THE CANNERY POTENTIAL USES FURNITURE OFFICE BAR INSTITUTIONAL USES/EDUCATION ENTERTAINMENT (CONCERT/ESCAPE ROOM) FITNESS BREWERY/BEER GARDEN RESTAURANT RETAIL & FORMULA RETAIL THE CANNERY | 5 FLOOR PLANS SPACE B 5,225 SF JEFFERSON STREET SPACE A 5,970 SF - 12,000 SF BEACH STREET BEACH 6 | THE CANNERY NEIGHBORHOOD AQUATIC PARK COVE Aquatic Park Cove is a Historical Landmark within the San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park.
