Harangozó Csongor főszerkesztő Decemberi számunk felettébb ambiciózus tervek megvalósulásáról tanúskodik: összegyűjtöttük az év során felhalmozódott ötleteinket, számba vettük tapasztalatainkat, s ezek alapján a lap számos részét átfazoníroztuk. Miért is vártunk volna az újévig? Mindeközben persze rendszeres párbeszédet folytattunk olvasóinkkal, akik így aktív részeseivé váltak a CHIP megújításának. Röviden a változásokról: először is megerősítettük az aktuális témákkal foglalkozó rovatunkat. Ezentúl minden hónapban közel 25 oldalon számolunk be a digitális világ történéseiről. A cikkekben a korábbiaknál bőségesebben fordulnak elő a megértést segítő illusztrációk, kizárólag a CHIP-ben megjelenő exkluzív ábrák, diagramok, különleges összehasonlítások, független szakértői vélemények. Természetesen továbbra is teljes körűen és a leghitelesebben informáljuk olvasóinkat a hazai piacon beszerezhető termékek jellemzőiről. Ám újdonság lesz, hogy az összehasonlító tesztjeinknél ezentúl egy-egy extra oldal ad majd muníciót az olvasónak vásárlási döntéseihez. Áttekinthetően kiemeljük a legjobb termékeket, sorra vesszük, hogy mire érdemes odafigyelni a vásárlásnál, s látványos grafikai megoldásokkal segítjük az eligazodást a termékdömpingben. Szerkesztőink kertelés nélküli, bátor kritikáit vagy éppen elismerő sorait a jövőben ugyancsak itt, keretes írások formájában találják majd meg olvasóink. Hardverbemutatóink is gazdagodtak, ezeket mostantól gyors értékelésekkel is kiegészítjük, s a kínálkozó alternatívák felsorolásával is fűszerezzük. Látványosan változott az újság gyakorlat rovata is. Minden korábbit felülmúló mennyiségben gyűjtöttünk össze olyan tippeket-trükköket, amelyek gördülékenyebbé teszik a számítógép használatát, gyorsítják a Windowst, egyszerűsítik az egyes alkalmazások futtatását, vagy éppen a hardverek világához adnak jól használható ötleteket. A tippeket illusztrációk sora teszi még érthetőbbé. A CD- és DVD-mellékletünkre is egyre több és még hasznosabb, teljes változatú programok kerülnek majd, s e téren a közeljövőben még számos kellemes meglepetéssel rukkolunk ki. Mindezzel persze korántsem fogytunk ki az ötletekből, ezért megígérhetjük, hogy a következő számaink folyamatosan szolgálnak majd meglepő újdonságokkal. Az olvasókkal való együttműködés világossá tette számunkra, hogy mely témákról és milyen tálalásban olvasnak a legszívesebben. Legyen tehát Ön is jól tájékozott a magazinból, és használja a jövőben is a CHIP-et a digitális világ iránytűjeként!
