All comments welcomed. If any family or groups of families would be interested in donating a Candelabra to Connolly church in memory of loved ones please contact Fr. Pat. If enough of people interested we may be able to get one for under each statue. MOTHERS PRAYERS: For mothers wishing to come together to pray for their children and grandchildren. BENEFIT DANCE: Many of you will be aware that Keith Connellan is fighting brain cancer. A benefit dance is being held in the Temple Gate Hotel on the 14th March. Tickets are at a cost of €10 each and all proceeds go to Keith's care and to help him in his battle. Your support would be grately appreciated. MEDITATION with movement and beautiful inspirational music. Meditation with a difference on Wednesday 28th January in St Anthony's Hall, Francis St, Ennis at 7.30pm. All are welcome. The purpose of the work is to connect Connolly NS to the Irish Water Treatment facility. Traffic light system will be place. Work will take maximum of ten days. You could get help at a Healing Programme organised by Clare Suicide Bereavement Support at their premises in Innovation House (near Liddys), Roslevan Centre, Tulla Rd. CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK: Catholic Schools Week begins on this Sunday 25th January until Sun 1st February. It is a period of time each year when we can become more aware of the unique contribution that our Catholic schools make to our community & to lifel. The theme for this year’s catholic schools week is “Catholic Schools: Called to Serve” . In and during this week let us acknowledge our teachers, pupils, secretaries, parents, board of management members, caretakers and all who so generously give of their time in our school communities. In the theme of this year Catholic Schools: Called to Serve each of the days has a different focus Monday- We are called to serve with love; Tuesday – We are called to serve with Kindness; Wednesday- We are called to serve with Joy; Thursday – we are called to serve with Truth; Friday- We are called to serve with Justice “The world tells us to seek Success, Power and Money; God tells us to seek Humility, Service and Love” Pope Francis .
