State DOMESTIC ` Delhi Institutional NA Quarantine Home Quarantine Domestic Passengers: 07 days of Home Quarantine. Asymptomatic passengers will be permitted to go with an advice for self- monitoring. Constitutional & Govt. functionaries and their staff members are exempted from 7 days of home quarantine. Health Screening COVID Test not required. Thermal screening will be done for all passengers upon arrival COVID test NA Passenger Obligation All passenger to download Aarogya Setu app Airlines Obligation If passenger found symptomatic upon arrival, airline will guide customer along with their bags to the dedicated medical room. Health Screening COVID Test not required. Madhya Institutional NA Pradesh Quarantine Indore Home Quarantine NA Health Screening Thermal screening shall be done for all passengers If passenger is found symptomatic, COVID 19 test to be performed. COVID test NA Passenger Obligation All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App All passengers are required to download the Indore 311 App & do a self- registration before arrival. 2 State Wise Quarantine Regulations for Domestic Travelers As of 24th July 2020. Undertaking form will be taken for Home Quarantine for 14 Days incase passengers develops COVID symptoms. All passenger are required update their health status on Indore 311 App for next 14 days. For business travelers there is no restriction if staying less than 3 days. While exiting the airport passengers need to inform admin official about the short stay. Airlines Obligation If passenger found symptomatic upon arrival, airline will guide customer along with their bags to the dedicated medical room Airport/State Thermal screening shall be done for all passengers obligation If passenger is found symptomatic, COVID 19 test to be performed. Punjab Institutional NA Quarantine Home Quarantine 14 days of Home Quarantine. No quarantine for business and corporate traveler Health Screening COVID-19 test shall be performed on random basis Thermal screening will be conducted for all passengers COVID test Random Basis Passenger Obligation All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App All passenger must register on COVA Punjab App before commencing their journey Boarding pass shall be considered as e-pass for movement to & from airport during curfew period (Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays) Airlines Obligation If passenger found symptomatic upon arrival, airline will guide customer along with their bags to the dedicated medical room. Airport/State COVID-19 test shall be performed on random basis obligation Thermal screening will be conducted for all passengers COVA Punjab App registration to be checked for each passenger Chandigarh Institutional If the test result is positive passenger/s shall be shifted to isolation Centre Quarantine Home Quarantine 14 days of Home Quarantine for all asymptomatic passengers travelling to Punjab. No quarantine for business and Corporate traveler Health Screening COVID-19 tests shall be performed on random basis for all passengers travelling to Punjab Thermal screening will be done for all passengers COVID test Random test Passenger Obligation Passenger is required to fill up Health Declaration form upon arrival Passenger is required to undergo COVID-19 Test at the Airport as directed by the Health Authorities All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App All passenger must register on COVA Punjab App before commencing their journey. Airlines Obligation Customers to be informed about COVID 19 arrival process before boarding Airlines to ensure that all other arriving passengers (not belonging to Punjab) names, address & mobile numbers to be provided to the State Station managers to provide arriving passenger list to Nodal officer in advance 3 State Wise Quarantine Regulations for Domestic Travelers As of 24th July 2020. Airport/State COVID-19 test shall be performed on random basis for passengers obligation travelling to Punjab Thermal screening will be conducted for all passengers COVA Punjab App registration to be checked for each passenger Uttar Institutional NA Pradesh Quarantine Home Quarantine 14 days of Home Quarantine. Exception to Quarantine: Passengers exiting Uttar Pradesh within 7 days of arrival shall be exempted from mandatory quarantine subject to validation of return/onward travel Health Screening Thermal screening will be done for all passengers COVID test NA Passenger Obligation Passenger will need to register state website before they exit the arrival hall Web Link : https://reg.upcovid.in or call 1800-180-5145 Passenger coming for short duration (< 7days) & travelling to some other destination will have to submit their travelling details & will be exempted from quarantine measures. It improves the capability of individuals and results in empowerment of them. Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948, identified literacy as a basic human right. Needless to state that increasing literacy rates leads to better health care and improved quality of life. According to the Census of India, a person is identified as literate who can both read and write with understanding in any language. The literacy rate in India since independence has been witnessing gradual significant increase. The state-specific analysis revealed that in states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarkhand the group disparity among the youngest age cohort has disappeared that it suggested the effective implementation of adult literacy to attain full literacy (Shukla and Mishra 2019). Among the 28 states and seven union territories, Tamil Nadu which ranked in twelfth position in 2001 census has been pushed to fourteenth place in 2011 census. Objectives The present paper makes an attempt to examine the trends in literacy rates in Tamil Nadu and the disparities across districts in Tamil Nadu.
