Military Appreciation Day: On Aug. 6, the Kraft family and Patriots Charitable Foundation hosted 50 members of the U.S. Armed Forces at training camp for Military Appreciation Day. Petty Officer Adam Smith of the U.S. Coast Guard enjoyed his first visit to Foxborough, saying “Foxborough is a really cool area with Gillette Stadium and Patriot Place. It’s amazing how all of these people are out here supporting the team during training camp. I’m having a great time and am very appreciative of the Kraft family and Patriots for inviting us to watch the team practice.” Smith and other military members enjoyed lunch and watched practice from the Patriots Charitable Foundation’s VIP Tent. After practice, players and coaches visited the special guests and signed autographs to conclude a memorable day.
