YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball contest with the at the end of the season has been given a definite date. The game will be played Saturday, March 8, and has been chosen as Time Warner Cable's MAC Wildcard Selection, the Mid-American Conference office announced today, Feb. 18. The game is scheduled for a 2 p.m. tip at Savage Arena in Toledo, Ohio.

Eastern looks to take down Toledo and sweep the season series that Saturday afternoon. The squad secured a victory over Mid-American Conference foe and MAC West leader the University of Toledo, 65-44, diffusing the Rockets on Hall of Fame Day, Feb. 15. Da'Shonte Riley (Detroit, Mich.-Detroit Country Day (Syracuse)) led the Eagles by swatting seven shots throughout the decisive victory at the Convocation Center.

Next up for the Eagles is a road contest in DeKalb, Ill., when Eastern squares off with Northern Illinois, Feb. 20. Tip- off from the NIU Convocation Center is scheduled for 7 p.m. and fans can catch the action on 89.1 FM (WEMU) or Time Warner Cable.
