INVITATION & NOMINATION
An invitation is extended to you and your Brigade to attend the 2021 State Road Crash Rescue Challenge
NOMINATION: A nomination form is enclosed for you as an Individual or as a Team for members wishing to attend this Challenge. If you wish to attend as an individual, you will be matched with others to make a composite team for competition. Individuals and Teams will have Lunch and Dinner (Sat Night Function) provided, but you will be responsi- ble for all other costs including travel, accommodation and meals.
Please return the nomination form by 11 April 2021.
By completing the nomination attached, you are committing to attend the Challenge. It is accepted that circumstances may change due to availability of members; but we do ask you make every endeavor to attend once accepted. If your team has any issues with attendance or acceptance, please contact the FCA Secretary to discuss the matter for a speedy resolution.

Registrations: Registrations will commence on Friday, 21 May at NSW Rural Fire Service, Eurobodalla Hot Fire Training Centre Bimbimbie Rd, Bimbimbie (Near Mogo) from 0700 hours
Lunch: Lunches, tea, coffee and snacks will be available at the venue throughout the weekend.

The Challenge will involve up to 24 teams from NSW Road Crash Rescue providers participating in a number of scenario pits and workshops.
The Challenge has a Road Crash Rescue, Industrial and Domestic Rescue and First Aid focus.
Overview The Challenge will consist of a Learning Symposium (a series of sessions including mental health, Infection Control, Electrical Safety and other topics rele- vant to General Land Rescue and First Aid), RCR scenarios, Trauma Challenge, CPR Masterclass and Workshops lead by industry experts.

The team consists of a Team Leader, Medic and 4 members (6 members total) The team can have a reserve who will be able to replace a team member if Team required. Requirements Each team should have a team manager where possible. The Trauma challenge scenarios will only involve two members of the team. The treatment of injuries will be assessed at senior first aid level only.
It is preferred the members of the team and reserve are Road Crash Rescue Operators accredited by the State Rescue Board but this is not explicitly required. Pre-requisites The medic does not require any higher skills than expected at Senior First Aid level.
There is no cost to participate in the Challenge or attend the learning symposium. Costs of Lunch and refreshments will be provided on site during the symposium and Challenge. Participation Dinner on Saturday Night will be provided as part of the casual function. All travel and accommodation will need to be funded by the respective team.
