Useful Information Organisation The Organising Committee of the LEN European Junior Championships has the pleasure to welcome you in Rome at the “Stadio del Nuoto” for the European Junior Swimming Championships that will be held from 6th – 11th July 2021 (Piazza Lauro de Bosis, 3). The event will be organized following COVID-19 sanitary guidelines, in a bubble (see the FINAL Sanitary Protocol). It is forbidden to exit from officials’ hotels, the venue, or take other means of transports not organized by the ROC. The ROC will take care of the local transportation and shuttle service from the airports and train stations upon arrival, and during the event. The teams are requested to check on their own, COVID-19 rules, regulations and restrictions, for traveling to another country. They must also check if for the event’s period they will be allowed to travel.

TRANSPORTS The organising committee will welcome all members of the participating Federations at Fiumicino and/or Ciampino Airport, and/or Termini or Tiburtina Railway Station. If you need help at the Airport, please contact Daniela Tonelli +39 339 2027067 or Sofia Cintio +39 334 7419034 . The ROC will be providing transportation services between the airport, the official team hotels, and the competition venue as per LEN COVID-19 Guidelines and Regulations; so, upon arrival, and for departures, during all transfers, all must wear a face mask. Transportation schedules will be provided upon arrival.

No other transportation will be allowed. ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES Arrivals The organising committee will facilitate airport welcome and transportation services. Procedures Upon arrival The teams will be transported to their hotel where they will be tested for the first Antigen Test and PCR Test. The team must wait for the result of the Antigen Test before leaving this place. After receiving the antigen test result participants will be allowed to go through the check-in procedures at the hotel and can collect at the same time their accreditations. Participants must have a negative result and NO signs or symptoms of COVID-19 infection. Upon arrival, during transportation, and during testing, all must wear a face mask. Upon receiving also, the result of the PCR Test, they can compete in the event. While waiting for the PCR test result, participants will not be allowed to move from their room. Departures If you have provided your travel details, the event information desk at the hotel will publish your departure details the day before your departure. If you have some changes in travel details, please inform as soon as possible the LOC ([email protected]), via e-mail and the information desk at your hotel. COVID-19 Rules and Regulations will be applied. Please also communicate at [email protected] if you still need PCR or Ag for coming back home. ACCREDITATIONS Upon arrival, after COVID-19 tests, LOC staff will give you both the key room and your accreditation. On each accreditation card, there will be a QR Code that will be activated upon receiving PCR tests results. QR Code will be scanned at the hotel and before entering training

Access to the venues Access to the venues will be subject to an accreditation control made by scanning a QR code that will be put on each accreditation card that states: QR Code scanning will be directly connected to PCR Results; positive PCR test will not allow participants to go in both competition and non-competition venues. In each hotel and both training and competition venues, LOC staff with a tablet will scan every accreditation card. Upon arrival in every venue, participants will be asked to: Before entering the venues, body temperature will be measured. For people with a body temperature higher than 37,5°C, access will be denied. It is mandatory to wear the mask in all areas of the venue, also in the call rooms, until the start of the race. Disinfection After every session, the pool will be sanitized by the personnel dedicated. Transport’s schedule As the event will be run in a bubble, all participants must ONLY use LOC’s transport. In every hotel there will be a big screen where all shuttle timings will be communicated.
