This guide provides an overview of services and facilities available for Guests with disabilities who are visiting Elitch Gardens. We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all Guests. This guide is intended to supplement the Elitch Gardens Park Map and Guide, which contains additional park information and an entertainment schedule. This guide also lists all of the rides, shows, and Guest assistance areas and includes symbols that will help you find these areas on the park map. Many theme park rides incorporate safety systems designed by the manufacturer to accommodate people of average physical stature and body proportion. These systems may place restrictions on the ability of an individual to safely experience the ride. Guests of exceptional proportions, Guests who have or have had health concerns with their heart, back or neck, expectant mothers, people who have had recent surgery, people with casts, braces, or restrictive devices, may not be safely accommodated by these systems. For example, height requirements are based on the size needed for restraint devices to function properly and the level of developmental maturity usually associated with a certain height. Elitch Garden’s Ride Admission Policy has been developed based on the recommendations of the manufacturer, our past experience and our evaluation of each ride using our knowledge of the ride in both normal and emergency operating conditions. Our prime consideration is the ability of each person to endure the dynamics of a ride without risk of injury to that person or other riders.

    Kings island ride height guide Continue Inside kings island's main entrance kings island is a 364-acre (147-hectare) theme park located in Mason, Ohio, 24 miles (39 km) northeast of Cincinnati. Since the amusement park opened in 1972, at least one attraction has been added every year except 1978, 1980, 1983 and 2008. The park is known to have attractions such as Flight of Fear, which was the world's first linear induction engine launched by a roller coaster, and a beast that held the record for the longest wooden roller coaster in the world since it opened in 1979. In addition, The Beast is still considered one of the best wooden roller coasters in the world according to industry surveys. The newest attraction in Kings Island is Mystic Timbers, a wooden slide produced by Great Coasters International. With this addition, Kings Island claimed the record for the most wooden roller coaster track of any amusement park in the world, and tied the record for most wooden roller coasters, with five. Until 1989, Kings Island had no water park. A 12-acre (4.9-hectare) water park was built near White Water Canyon. The area had 15 water slides, a lazy river and a children's play area. Since its initial opening, the water park has had three extensions and four titles (the real name is Soak City). To ensure safety, Kings Island uses an amusement assessment system that categorizes attractions based on the intensity of the ride. Ratings range from one, for rides that are calm and gentle, to five, to rides that have high speed, aggressive strength, and rapid height changes.
