2017 Second Open Round Table of Museology in Graz M USEOLOGICA BRUNENSIA ZPRÁV Y/NEWS 2017 SECOND OPEN ROUND TABLE OF MUSEOLOGY IN GRAZ https://doi.org/10.5817/MuB2018-2-8 BARBORA KOPECKÁ On 3–6 December 2017, the University of Graz hosted the second “Open Round Table of Museology” project. It was an international meeting of students and pedagogues who were concerned with the same topic – museology. The project is taking place under the auspices of the UNESCO Chair of Museology and World Heritage in Brno and the Department of History, University of Graz. It is supported by the AKTION Czech Republic-Austria programme and it has been realised since 2016. Among the most important project goals is the effort to initiate meetings in the form of student workshops, professional excursions, lectures and discussion Fig. 1: Photo: Sabine Zambo, University of Graz, 2017. forums, which are intended for student experts, teachers as well as the professional community. These meetings are focused on the problem of museology and museum work.
