The First Steam Loco India put first step towards new age when it took manufacturing of steam locomotives in India. The first steam loco No. F-734 was built in 1895 by the Ajmer workshop of the Rajputana Malwa Railway. 01 By 1880 the Indian Railway system had a route length of about 14400 kms.
