HOSPITALITY MANUAL 2017 Dear Partners,

On behalf of THE NORTHERN TRUST tournament staff, we thank you for your support of this important championship. This year marks an exciting new era of this great event with a new title sponsor in Northern Trust, a new commissioner in Jay Monahan, and a new vision for the lead FedExCup Playoffs event. In 2017, we will show the world how New York does - fashion, food, and do-or-die drama on a world stage!

THE NORTHERN TRUST is the only world-class professional golf tournament hosted annually in NY/NJ and, as the first FedExCup event, there is a lot at stake. The very best 125 players in the world will battle for an opportunity to advance to the next event. For those that fail, their season will come to an abrupt end and those that survive will need to fight to put themselves in position to win the FedExCup. With the world’s spotlight upon them and a lot on the line, there is sure to be great theater. And you will have a front row seat with first class views of golf and access to new fan amenities being introduced this year.

However, while much will change, our commitment to giving back will remain a constant. The 2016 event generated $1.4 million for local charities throughout NY/NJ, totaling $45 million in charitable giving since the event began in 1967. Through your continued support, we look forward to continuing of giving back this year as we showcase New York to the world.

This is how New York does golf! Top players competing for huge stakes at one of the most exclusive venues in golf all while creating a meaningful impact on our community. We are thrilled you will be joining us; we will do everything we can to deliver beyond your expectations and to create the kind of lasting memories that come with experiencing something truly special.

We look forward to seeing you in August.

Sincerely,

Julie Tyson Senior Vice President Championship Management PGA TOUR TABLE OF CONTENTS

THE NORTHERN TRUST attracts the top 125 players in the world as the lead event of the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Playoffs; but there is SO much more to this event than just golf. With a new course and new title sponsor, the event has been reimagined to create premier sponsor and fan experiences that tap into our fan's passions for fashion, food, and do-or-die drama.

Fashion. Designer brands, fan enhancements and shopping venues, THE NORTHERN TRUST is at the forefront of golf — and golf spectator — fashion. All the best looks, plus an opportunity to get limited-time apparel from our premium partners? You won't want to miss this news.

Food. Celebrity Chefs — that's right, more than one— will be making plates exclusive to THE NORTHERN TRUST. Right again, you can only get these dishes on site at Glen Oaks Club! From your favorite New York dessert place to locally-sourced ingredients and the most quintessential Long Island food — our culinary genius can't be matched. So, what dish will you 'gram? Don't forget that hashtag #HowNYDoesGolf

Do-or-Die Drama. Although the PGA TOUR's top-125 in the FedExCup standings will earn a ticket to New York, only the best 100 will move on to the next week in their journey for the glory of the FedExCup. Four days of do-or-die drama. Rise above or go home. Play well or your season is over. And all on the only stage in the world that can handle such a competition - New York's own, Long Island. As if that’s not enough, we can guarantee you’ll see a world-class champion crowned on Sunday. Don’t believe us? Take a look at the prestigious list of tournament champions & be here yourself to witness who adds their name to the list!

7 FACT SHEET

Date: August 21-27, 2017

Site: Glen Oaks Club - Old Westbury, NY Known as “Augusta of the North”, Glen Oaks Club is a mystery to PGA TOUR players as this is the first professional golf tournament that the course will host. Club history, dating back to it’s inception in 1934, connects back to the “Roaring 20s” era when many of New York City’s wealthiest families built estates out on Long Island. While this comparison might sound pretentious, course Superintendent Craig Currier (previously of Augusta National and two U.S. Opens at Bethpage Black) keeps the course perfectly conditioned. Under his supervision, the course underwent an extensive renovation that will be nothing but memorable and challenging for the best players in the world to take the stage.

Par & Yardage: 70 / 7383

Architect & Redesign: Joe Finger (1971), Joel Weiman and Craig Currier (2011)
