The program was inducted on the strength of its history, impact on the game and continued success over a 34-year period. The Hall of Fame’s official ceremony took place Friday night and was televised exclusively on NBA TV. The broadcast began at 6:30 p.m. Eastern. The Flying Queens were presented for enshrinement by Luisa Harris Stewart, a 1992 inductee to the Hall, and Nancy Lieberman, a 1996 inductee. An ESPN special segment featuring the Queens also ran during the broadcast. The Queens joined an induction class that included Al Attles, Carl Braun, Chuck Cooper, Vlade Divac, Bill Fitch, Bobby Jones, Sidney Moncrief, Jack Sikma, Tennessee A&I, Teresa Weatherspoon and Paul Westphal. The Queens rosters from 1948-82 consisted of 187 women. The Queens were known for flying to all of their games, sponsored by Claude and Wilda Hutcherson who owned Hutcherson Flying Service. The Queens won a combined 830 games during that span, including a record 131 consecutive games, with 10 AAU national titles. Wayland received several souvenirs from the Naismith as part of the enshrinement. 6 Wayland Baptist University Traveler 2020 7 8 Wayland Baptist University Traveler 2020 9 8.23.19 Briar Cliff University L 0-3 8.23.19 Northwestern College L 0-3 8.24.19 Concordia University L 0-3 8.24.19 Dordt College L 0-3 8.28.19 University of the Southwest W 3-0 8.30.19 Presentation College W 3-2 8.30.19 Friends University W 3-2 8.31.19 Dickinson State University L 1-3 8.31.19 Johnson and Wales University W 3-0 9.06.19 MACU L 0-3 9.07.19 USAO W 3-0 9.07.19 OLLU L 1-3 Ariel Charm Jordan Kellie Jai’Cee Tatijana Alexa 9.13.19 Langston W 3-1 Marquez Henderson Breding Kozak Tudman Markic Hinojos 9.14.19 Central Christian W 3-0 9.14.19 Serling College L 1-3 9.17.19 OPSU W 3-0 9.21.19 John Brown L 0-3 9.24.19 University of te Southwest W 3-0 9.27.19 Texas Wesleyan L 2-3 9.28.19 SAGU L 1-3 10.04.19 Southwestern Christian L 1-3 10.05.19 Oklahoma City L 0-3 10.09.19 USAO W 3-0 Cheyenne Renzelle Amber Tevia Sadie Brenna Lucie 10.14.19 MACU L 0-3 Gruben Horner Daniel Bell Hall Daniel Mahelova 10.18.19 Central Christian W 3-0 10.19.19 Langston W 3-2 10.25.19 John Brown L 0-3 10.29.19 OPSU W 3-0 11.01.19 SAGU L 1-3 11.02.19 Texas Wesleyan L 0-3 11.08.19 Oklahoma City L 0-3 11.09.19 Southwestern Christian W 3-0 SAC Tournament 11.12.19 John Brown L 0-3 Volleyball 10 Wayland Baptist University Traveler 2020 11 1 Trayton McLain 25 Jerrell Peterson 59 Harlan Schafer 89 Justin Silva RS Tian Harrell Jr. 8.31.19 University of Saint Mary W 35-13 2 Noah Lujan 26 Jacoby Hunt 60 Max Castillo 90 Jaren Baltazar RS JaRon Humphrey 9.07.19 Texas - But that is hard to say and even athletes involved, but especially the be made or lost with the outcome of the LCU games.
