Given the pandemic, I want to perform songs we already know. And when I say “we,” I completely understand that that’s not true of newer members. But I’d love for us all to leave UNISON with a shared repertoire that is meaningful to all of us. Found/Tonight Disco Medley Sorry not Sorry Bridge over Troubled Waters, We kiss in the Shadows, Steam Heat, We rise again, Found/Tonight medley Rise Up - Andra Day Let the River Run - Carly Simon Sister Act medley I Travelled - Jully Black Four Strong Winds

I'll Fly Away, Pulse, Lightning, Choose Something Like a Star, Rise Up, Sister Acts, Hallelujah Hmm - I don't have specific songs in mind. But in the short set, I think we should aim for at least one 'gay' song that makes people laugh and / or sing a long, and one, but only one traditional choral song that displays forte's ability to perform at a superior level. The aim should be to chiefly entertain folks. I'd like to see us possibly revisit the original songs gifted to us for our 10th anniversary as they are original and some have never been heard. I'll have to pull out the list of them for consideration.

As 7 out of 11 participants chose “Forte’s 25th Anniversary” (63.6%), it would seem that this is a theme worth exploring for Unison 2022.

Highlights from the shows chosen as favourite shows by participants may be considered as potential repertoire if it is decided that our 25th anniversary is the theme that we are going to choose. If these songs are included in the songs participants indicated they would like to see included in Unison 2022, perhaps time can be allotted to linking this material to their respective Forte show. The shows mentioned as favourites were “Beyond the Rainbow”, “Northern Lights”, “Steam Heat”, “My Story, My Song”, and the 2017 and 2019 Spring Concerts.
