Department overview: Fitch Ratings is seeking a self-motivated, inquisitive professional with credit experience for the Surveillance, Project and Resource Collaborative group in Public Finance. Members of the group support various sectors within Public Finance through surveillance credit preparation and analysis, data analysis and management, and special projects. Job Description: Analyzing financial, debt, and other issuer-specific data Presenting analysis to committee of analysts within the public finance department Writing credit reports summarizing quantitative and qualitative analysis Writing topical reports on issues affecting departmental sector Providing support to senior analysts Managing department data to enhance analytical presentations Additional projects and assignments as assigned Position Requirements: Graduate degree and/or 1-5 years of experience in Public Finance and credit analysis background preferred Self-motivated, inquisitive professional with strong credit analysis skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail and knowledge of standard business software Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel; VBA experience a plus Strong numbers and data background and thorough familiarity with spreadsheet analysis To apply, copy and paste the following link to your URL browser: http://jobs.brassring.com/1033/ASP/TG/cim_jobdetail.asp?partnerid=25877&siteid=5230&Areq=1573BR Or log on the Careers section of the website at www.fitchratings.com and search for Job ID 1573 .
