IL GRUPPO INTESA SANPAOLO Il Gruppo Intesa Sanpaolo È Il Maggiore Gruppo Bancario in Italia, Con 11,1 Milioni Di Clienti E IL GRUPPO INTESA SANPAOLO Il Gruppo Intesa Sanpaolo è il maggiore gruppo bancario in Italia, con 11,1 milioni di clienti e circa 4.300 filiali, ed uno dei principali in Europa. Intesa Sanpaolo nasce il 1° gennaio 2007 dalla fusione di Sanpaolo IMI in Banca Intesa – banche che hanno giocato un ruolo da protagonisti nel processo di consolidamento del sistema bancario italiano divenendo due dei maggiori gruppi a livello nazionale. Il Gruppo Intesa Sanpaolo è il leader italiano nelle attività finanziarie per famiglie ed imprese, in particolare nell’intermediazione bancaria (con una quota del 15% dei prestiti e dei depositi), nella raccolta premi vita (con una quota del 17%), nel risparmio gestito (21%), nei fondi pensione (22%) e nel factoring (30%). Inoltre il Gruppo con una copertura strategica del territorio tramite le sue controllate locali si colloca tra i principali gruppi bancari in diversi Paesi del Centro-Est Europa e nel Medio Oriente e Nord Africa dove serve 8,3 milioni di clienti attraverso una rete di circa 1.300 filiali: è al primo posto in Serbia, al secondo in Croazia e Slovacchia, al terzo in Albania, al quinto in Egitto, al settimo in Bosnia-Erzegovina, Slovenia e Ungheria. Al 30 giugno 2015, il Gruppo Intesa Sanpaolo presenta un totale attivo di 668.399 milioni di euro, crediti verso clientela per 344.199 milioni di euro, raccolta diretta bancaria di 364.897 milioni di euro e raccolta diretta assicurativa e riserve tecniche di 124.415 milioni di euro. L’attività del Gruppo si articola in sette business units: Divisione Banca dei Territori: focalizzazione sul mercato e centralità del territorio per il rafforzamento delle relazioni con gli individui, le piccole e medie imprese e gli enti nonprofit. La divisione include le banche controllate italiane e le attività di credito industriale, leasing e factoring (svolte tramite Mediocredito Italiano). Divisione Corporate e Investment Banking: partner globale per lo sviluppo equilibrato e sostenibile delle imprese e delle istituzioni finanziarie in un’ottica di medio/lungo termine, su basi nazionali ed internazionali. Include le attività di capital markets e investment banking (svolte tramite Banca IMI) ed è presente in 29 Paesi a supporto dell’attività cross-border dei suoi clienti con una rete specializzata costituita da filiali, uffici di rappresentanza e controllate che svolgono attività di corporate banking. La divisione è attiva nel settore del Public Finance come partner globale per la pubblica amministrazione. Divisione Banche Estere: include le controllate che svolgono attività di commercial banking nei seguenti Paesi: Albania (Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania), Bosnia-Erzegovina (Intesa Sanpaolo Banka Bosna i Hercegovina), Croazia (Privredna Banka Zagreb), Egitto (Bank of Alexandria), Federazione Russa (Banca Intesa), Repubblica Ceca (la filiale di Praga della VUB Banka), Romania (Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Romania), Serbia (Banca Intesa Beograd), Slovacchia (VUB Banka), Slovenia (Banka Koper) e Ungheria (CIB Bank). Divisione Private Banking: serve i clienti appartenenti al segmento Private e High Net Worth Individuals con l’offerta di prodotti e servizi mirati. La divisione include Fideuram - Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, con circa 5.900 private banker. Divisione Asset Management: soluzioni di asset management rivolte alla clientela del Gruppo, alle reti commerciali esterne al Gruppo e alla clientela istituzionale. La divisione include Eurizon Capital con circa 221 miliardi di euro di masse gestite. Divisione Insurance: prodotti assicurativi e previdenziali rivolti alla clientela del Gruppo. Alla divisione fanno capo le società Intesa Sanpaolo Vita, Fideuram Vita e Intesa Sanpaolo Assicura, con riserve tecniche di circa 119 miliardi di euro. Capital Light Bank: estrazione di valore dalle attività non-core, con gestione dei crediti in sofferenza e degli asset re- possessed, cessione delle partecipazioni non strategiche e gestione proattiva degli altri asset non-core (inclusa Pravex- Bank in Ucraina).
