By Philip Illsley THE NEW AND DIVINE HOLINESS This Gift of the Divine Will from God is the greatest of all Miracles and Jesus said “ I could not give you a greater Gift at this time of headlong rush into evil and destruction “ This gift is all for the greater Glory of God the Father and for the good of all souls past present and future. By Philip Illsley. www.holyishisname.co.uk Mr Joseph Rigby and Mr Philip Illsley; in the chapel at Nazareth House in Cardiff where Joe who is now 92 is in the nursing home there. INTRODUCTION to THE NEW AND DIVINE HOLINESS. I started to write this in and around the beginning of August in 2016 on Friday the 8th July 2016 I had phoned Philip Rigby, Joes son to let him know I could no longer look after his fathers interests. It has been nine months that I have helped Joe sell his bungalow and help him move into Nazareth House nursing home in Cardiff. This had been a very busy and stressful time for me and now because of my son Chris and his health issues I need to spend more time with my wife and family. It is with great sadness that Joe died on Thursday 29th June 2017 at 4.00pm. I have written this as a testimony of Joe’s life and his desire to live and pray in The Divine Will of God, and his desire to be the messenger of God in spreading the good news to others throughout the whole world of this wonderful gift given to us His creatures THE GIFT OF THE DIVINE WILL. Let us all pray my friends that Joseph will hear those wonderful words from God “ Well done My Good and faithful servant come and enter into the Kingdom prepared from the beginning of Time “ Joe Rigby and his great friend Jim Manley in Joe’sroom in Nazareth House in Cardiff: Joseph’s Funeral in St Bridget’s Church in Cardiff on Tuesday 25th July at 12.00 pm. Luisa Piccarreta The Divine Will is a precious Gift given to Luisa Piccarreta; The Servant of God and The Little Daughter of the Divine Will, by Jesus and through her it is now available to all who know about it and desire it. For those of you who have never heard of the Divine Will or Luisa Piccarreta, or this New and Divine Holiness it may seem like an impossible dream to many of you that through a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit that would form in people living in this time now today who would surpass all the saints of day gone by. But this is the lifting of the veil upon the approaching glorious time when the prayer that Jesus gave us over two thousand years ago will be fulfilled ; “ Thy Kingdom come and Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven” And that we must all start to believe that it can begin now in each and everyone of us, if we believe enough to say YES to this great gift God now offers to the whole world This gift of the New and Divine Holiness – THE DIVINE WILL. I want to thank Joseph Rigby for his vast knowledge of the Divine Will which he has gained from over thirty years of studying this wonderful gift from God. Because this knowledge of Joe which he has imparted to me and many others has been vital in the production of this book and in my own personal advancement and indeed the personal advancement of many, many, other people who have known Joseph over many years. People who have received from Joseph, many pamphlets, writings, cassettes, dvds, on how to live This New And Divine Holiness. We all thank you Joseph, for showing us how to live and pray in the Divine Will and the advice and guidance we have received from you in how we can all enter into; THE KINGDOM of THE DIVINE WILL and that Gods Will can now be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. It has been a privilege Joseph to have known you and be a friend of yours, and these word and writings would not have taken place without your knowledge freely given to me and many others over many years and this is a tribute to your life in living and praying in the Divine Will. As Jesus told Luisa 16th Feb 1921-- “ There are no special paths, nor doors, nor keys, to My Will, A soul has but to desire it and all is done. My Will assumes all the work, gives the soul what it lacks and makes it expand into the limitless boundaries OF MY WILL “. Philip Illsley. August 2016 www.holyishisname.co.uk INTRODUCTION TO THE NEW AND DIVINE HOLINESS: A Great Gift from God at this time of headlong rush into evil and destruction. by Philip Illsley. Sept 2016 Copyright 2016. According to our late great Pope St John Paul 2nd we must all recognise that we are living in “ The Fullness of Time” an unprecedented hour of Divine Mercy and that the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Era of Peace may be “Imminent”. He refers us to St Pauls Letter to the Romans ( 5 . 20) and this assures us “ Where sin abounds, grace abounds all the more “ Thus we can see that the unprecedented evils of our time Must be swallowed up in an unprecedented outpouring of The Holy Spirit. How are we to obtain, such a lofty state of this New and Divine Holiness. First we must all believe that Jesus wants every man and woman and child to share in His Divine Life and to do Gods Will on Earth as it is in Heaven. Jesus said to the visionary Conchita at Garabandal. I did not choose saints to tell be perfect as My Heavenly Father is perfect. I addressed Myself to all men to the good and to the evil. All without exception are obliged to sanctify themselves. Luisa Piccarreta; The servant of God and the little daughter of the Divine Will. Armed with this awareness we can confidently approach the throne of grace recalling other words of Jesus to His disciples, “ If you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children how much more will the Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him “ ( Luke 11;13) As we enter Today what St Maximilian Kolbe called “ The Era of The Holy Spirit and Our Lady” We Must all ask Our Lady to give us the faith to believe that Jesus wants to give us the Fullness of the Holy Spirit that He wants us all to share in His Divine Life more abundantly than ever before and to ask Our Lady to unite us to the Sacred Heart of Her Son Jesus so that we may also Love the Father as Jesus loves Him. Secondly, we must all share fully in the Divine Life of Jesus this means we all have to empty ourselves and to exchange the independent use of our human will for the reign of The divine Will in our souls through the action of the Holy Spirit. As the Holy Spirit then begins to reign in us in our thoughts, words, and actions, and lifts us to eternity, not only will we be present to Jesus in all the mysteries of his human life. He too will become present to us in every moment of our lives. Moreover as we invite the Holy Spirit and Our lady to unite us to Jesus they will inspire us to enter into the thoughts words, and actions, that Jesus has prepared for us all to walk in. Thus we will fulfil the words of St Paul in his letter to the Ephesians “ We are His handiwork created in Christ Jesus for good works, that He has prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them “ Ephesians 2;10 ) As we all then follow the Spirits lead, Thinking Speaking and Acting with Jesus. We will all truly become another Jesus, our thoughts will become His thoughts, our words will become His words our actions will become His actions all for the greater Glory of God the Father and for the good of all souls past present and future. We will then all begin to look at all Gods work in creation, redemption, and sanctification through the eyes of Jesus and with Jesus we will give thanks to the Father for all creatures. We will all join with Jesus in rejoicing in the work of the Holy Spirit in all souls past, present, and future but most especially in the souls of the Apostles of the latter days who will usher in the Glorious Reign of the Divine Will on Earth as it is in Heaven. The Divine Will is the call to us the creature to return to the order to the place for which we were created by God. The Gift of the Divine Will by Jesus to creatures is the Greatest of all Miracles. Through Luisa this Gift is now available to us all as long as we know about it and desire it. These Messages of Gold, Pearls of Wisdom, from Jesus to Luisa Piccarreta. Through Luisa, this gift is now available to us all as long as we know about it and desire it this is the essence of this book. These Messages of Gold, These Pearls of Wisdom, about this New and Divine Holiness come from the writings of Luisa Piccarreta and from the book of Heaven.

It uses various phrases to convey their meanings, in different contexts it shows how they are to be used and finally, it illustrates them in the lives of gifted people. In most cases all believers are expected to perform the activities (or working out)of the gifts as they learn how to do so by observing those people specifically gifted in each area. Some of the gifts are not even mentioned outside the lists given in the Scriptures. Obviously then, a definition of the gifts will require considerable interpretation and certain amplitude allowing for a variety of opinions. Some of the gifts are declared by Paul to be of a temporary nature (prophecy, knowledge, and tongues, 1 Cor 13:8), so the natural question is, when? If we can establish that those gifts had a temporary purpose in the foundation period of the Church, it is possible that there were other gifts that were not going to be permanent for the whole Church Age: apostleship, healing, interpretation of tongues and miracles.

  • Gifts of the Spirit Part 3 “The Nine Gifts—Power Gifts” 1 Cor. 12
Gifts of the Spirit Part 3 “The Nine Gifts—Power Gifts” 1 Cor. 12: 1; 4-6; 8-11 “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant...4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all....8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.” Now we shared last time that the 9 gifts listed here can be divided into 3 categories: Revelation gifts: Wisdom, knowledge, discernment. Power gifts: Faith, healings, miracles. Utterance gifts: Prophecy, tongues, interpretation. This time we’re going to look at the 3 power gifts—faith, healings, and miracles. First—the gift of faith. Now, we all have faith. Every child of God was born again by faith and is called to walk by faith and not by sight. So what then does Paul mean by the gift of faith? • The gift of faith is the supernatural ability to believe God for the miraculous without doubt or unbelief.

  • Speaking in Tongues in the Restoration Churches
AR TICLES AND ESSAYS Speaking in Tongues in the Restoration Churches Lee Copeland "WE BELIEVE IN THE GIFT OF TONGUES, prophecy, revelation, visions, heal- ing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth" (Seventh Article of Faith). While over five million people in the United States today speak in tongues (Noll 1983, 336), very few, if any, are Latter-day Saints. How- ever, during the mid-1800s, speaking in tongues was so commonplace in the LDS and RLDS churches that a person who had not spoken in tongues, or who had not heard others do so, was a rarity. Journals and life histories of that period are filled with instances of the exercise of this gift of the Spirit. In today's Church, the practice is almost totally unknown. This article summarizes the various views of tongues today, clarifies the origin of tongues within the restored Church, and details its rise and fall in the LDS and RLDS faiths. There are two general categories of speaking in tongues: glos- solalia, speaking in an unknown language, usually thought to be of heavenly, not human, origin; and xenoglossia, miraculously speaking in an ordinary human language unknown to the speaker. When no dis- tinction is made between these two types of speech, both types are collectively referred to as glossolalia. On the day of Pentecost, Christ's apostles were gathered together. "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were con- founded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language" (Acts 2:4, 6).

  • Knowing and Living Into Our Spiritual Gifts God’S Gifts for You and the Church
Knowing and Living into our Spiritual Gifts God’s Gifts for you and the Church Developed by The Rev. W. Frank Allen [email protected] Table of Contents Introduction page 3 Chapter One A Short History of the Holy Spirit page 7 Chapter Two The Gifts of the Holy Spirit page 17 Chapter Three Spiritual Gifts Inventory page 21 Chapter Four Understanding Our Gifts page 29 Chapter Five Organizing for Church by our Gifts page 69 Chapter Six The Most Excellent Way page 74 2 Introduction Not by might, not by power but by the Spirit of God As Christians, we are part of a movement that seeks to draw all people into the gracious, reconciling love of God through Jesus Christ. It is Christ’s call on our lives to know Him, to make Him known and in the process draw everyone into the life that is really life, the life lived with God and for the welfare of others and ourselves. Too often our Christianity is quiet, personal, merely a contained part of our lives. We tend to focus on our relationship with God, on our prayer life, on our call, on our experience of God. This is a wonderful and important part of the Christian life, but since no one can be a Christian on their own, it is important that we remember that we are part of a community and a specific kind of community at that. Jesus wants us to be known by our love for one another and so Christian community seeks both a vertical relationship with God and a horizontal relationship with others.

  • The Following Are the Spiritual Gifts in Scripture, with Descriptions
Spiritual gifts are supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit in believers, and every believer has at least one spiritual gift. The gifts are used to bring God glory, and to build up others in the church, for the benefit of all corporately. The apostle Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 1:4; 7 (NLT), “There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all… A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.” Do you know what your spiritual gift(s) are? Are you using them? Primarily the spiritual gifts are listed in three passages of scripture, (Romans 12:6‐8, 1Corinthians 12:8‐ 10; 28‐30, and Ephesians 4:11), although others are mentioned elsewhere. The following are the Spiritual Gifts in scripture, with descriptions: The Gift of Administration The spiritual gift of administration is the divine strength or ability to organize multiple tasks and groups of people to accomplish these tasks. With this gift, the Holy Spirit enables certain Christians to organize, direct, and implement plans to lead others in various ministries. This gift is more goal or task oriented and is more concerned with details and organization. Acts 6:1‐7; I Corinthians 12:28; Titus 1:4‐5 The Gift of Apostleship The spiritual gift of apostleship is sometimes confused with the office of apostle. The office of apostle was held by a limited number of men chosen by Jesus, including the twelve disciples (Mark 3:13‐19) and Paul (Romans 1:1).
