DIESEL LOVE Air Force’s offensive line, nicknamed Diesel, received some love from Professional Foot- ball Focus after it’s season opening performance in the 40-7 win over Navy. The O-line was named the offensive line of the week after gaining 369 yards rushing. The Falcons averaged 3.6 yards before contact and produced 15 runs of 10 or more yards, two more than any other team that week. Senior center Nicholas Noyen and senior guard Nolan Laufenberg were each named to the PFF offensive team of the week. Noyen had the highest run-block grade of the week of any offensive lineman while Laufenberg ranked second.
