This would be the last album with 7N43nOmSj guitar god Michael Schenker (until 1995). Solid rocker in "Only You Can Rock wLCzmbPMN Me", Schenker and Raymond cover this track. "Pack It Up (And Go)", sounds DJTxqrC4k like a Zeppelin tune from "Physical Graffiti", strong rocker. Journal of the Music & Entertainment Industry Educators Association Volume 13, Number 1 (2013) Bruce Ronkin, Editor Northeastern University Published with Support from Malcolm Chisholm: An Evaluation of Traditional Audio Engineering Paul S. Linden University of Southern Mississippi Abstract The career of longtime Chicago area audio engineer and notable Chess Records session recorder Malcolm Chisholm (1929-2003) serves as a window for assessing the stakes of technological and cultural develop- ments around the birth of Rock & Roll. Chisholm stands within the tradi- tional art-versus-commerce debate as an example of the post-World War II craftsman ethos marginalized by an incoming, corporate-determined paradigm. Contextual maps locate Chisholm’s style and environment of audio production as well as his impact within the rebranding of electri- fied Blues music into mainstream genres like Rock music.

After enrolling and graduating from Rising Sun Center for Opportunity’s all-female MC3 pre-apprenticeship program, Women Building the Bay, Juju felt prepared to enter the construction trades. Now, she feels empowered as a mother and career woman to support her family doing work that she is passionate about. Issue 116 JULY 27TH, 2020 “Baby, there’s only two more days till tomorrow.” That’s from the Gary Wilson song, “I Wanna Take You On A Sea Cruise.” Gary, an outsider music legend, expresses what many of us are feeling these days. How many conversations have you had lately with people who ask, “what day is it?” How many times have you had to check, regardless of how busy or bored you are? Right now, I can’t tell you what the date is without looking at my Doug the Pug calendar. (I am quite aware of that big “Copper 116” note scrawled in the July 27 box though.) My sense of time has shifted and I know I’m not alone. It’s part of the new reality and an aspect maybe few of us would have foreseen. Well, as my friend Ed likes to say, “things change with time.” Except for the fact that every moment is precious. In this issue: Larry Schenbeck finds comfort and adventure in his music collection. John Seetoo concludes his interview with John Grado of Grado Labs. WL Woodward tells us about Memphis guitar legend Travis Wammack. Tom Gibbs finds solid hits from Sophia Portanet, Margo Price, Gerald Clayton and Gillian Welch. Anne E. Johnson listens to a difficult instrument to play: the natural horn, and digs Wanda Jackson, the Queen of Rockabilly. Ken hits the road with progressive rock masters Nektar. Audio shows are on hold? Rudy Radelic prepares you for when they’ll come back. Roy Hall tells of four weddings and a funeral.
