Summary I obtained my PhD from Maastricht University in Economics and Governance. I have MSc in Public Policy and Human Development specialized social policy financing from Maastricht University. Prior to joining UNU-MERIT, I worked for the National Bank of and the Netherlands Development Organization, SNV. In 2014, I received the World Bank Group Fellowship. Currently, I am a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Pretoria, Economics department.

Research Measurement of poverty dynamics, socio-economic dimensions of economic shocks, topics program evaluation, applied econometrics, social mobility, microfinance and gender.
