June was a big month in the calendar of the village, with the Jubilee celebrations and the visit of the Olympic Torch shortly afterwards. Inside you will find photos of the Edwinstowe “Jubilee Picnic” and the Edwinstowe Angels’ charity walk. There were still plenty of people who were determined not to be put off by the rain and came out to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee. Also inside, are pictures of the day the Olympic Torch came to Edwinstowe. People turned out in their thousands to welcome the Torch to “Robin Hood’s village”.
