Spaces in our Primary years are Cafeteria 3 Classroom Space Play Deck adaptable and flexible to suit the learning taking place. This gives children the opportunity to use the space to work individually, to collaborate, or to present their work. There are specialist rooms like a Ceramics studio, Makerspace, Design & Technology rooms, Recording studios and Art rooms that enable them to access resources that enhance their learning. Level 6 Play Terrace Presentation Space Cafeteria Our tweens and teens have different demands as they move into Secondary. These learners need more spaces in which to gather to work collaboratively on projects. These areas need to inspire them to push their ideas further. As they approach their examination years learners need quiet personal spaces where they can study and work on their individual coursework. Makerspaces and Design & Technology rooms allow for learning to be more in- depth. For example, our Language learners can use the green screens to present the news in French or Mandarin which challenges their understanding and articulation of the subject. Our two gyms are designed to be split into four Pitch Side Poolside Seating Area Fitness Suite spaces for teaching. They are equipped with bleachers to ensure our teams get the best support when competing. The Aquatics Centre features a 50m Olympic- sized pool as well as a 20m shallow pool for swimming lessons or for our athletes to warm up in. The pool is fitted with the latest Omega touch pads to ensure our swimmers get accurate recordings. The 20m pool is partly shaded to offer protection from the sun.
