My work history and passion for Wheels Day teaching English allowed me to acquire a wealth of knowledge in Tuesday 8 December the foundation skills for literacy. I am pleased to be able to contribute my extensive knowledge of literacy to our community of learners. I live in Omokoroa but we are building a house in Wairoa on our young End of Term 4 2020 avocado orchard which we plan on moving into in about May Wednesday 16 December next year. 12:30pm I have a son, Sean, who will be Year 12 next year, and a daughter, Charlotte who will be in Year 10. They go to Otumoetai College. My husband, Alistair, is a Property Inspector and an ex builder who has had a big hand in building our new house! I'm looking forward to my time at Pahoia School and can't wait to get started! It’s Pie Day this Friday! I was originally born School Shop in Auckland and moved to Christchurch for 4 years to study my teaching degree and moved back to Auckland to work in 2018. I enjoy playing football, board games and most things nerdy with my wife and friends. I am a lover of animals especially setting up fish tanks which has been encouraged by my wife working in a pet store. My wife and I are very excited to open up a new chapter of our lives in Tauranga and I am very excited to get to know Pahoia school and community! Now that we have our staffing sorted we are in the process of looking at class placements for next year. Teachers are busy finalising the end of year school reports ready to go home in Week 9. Even though we are the youngest learners at Pahoia School we still make the most of every learning opportunity. There is no holding us back as we live out the 'I' in PRIDE. Exploring how scientists act, learning to be an author and seizing each experience to write about and demonstrating our talents at our recent 'Pahoia got talent' auditions. What’s Happening in Waipapa? Waipapa learners have been having an awesome time learning about the natural world. We have been scientists investigating plants and animals. We have been writers reporting on all that we have learnt about nature. We have been mathematicians, measuring and using data to make better sense of the world that we live in. We have been artists inspired by what we have seen. One of our long-standing leaders is ready to step down, and we’re looking for someone energetic to join the group. You may have children that would like to join - great, bring them along too - but you don’t have to be the parent of a member Scout. All Scouts-related training is provided, but if you have Stop in to the Omokoroa or Katikati Public Library to sign practical outdoor skills, and enjoy working with young up for our free summer reading and activity programme, people aged 10 ½ to 14 ½, and can give a few hours a the Bob Squad.
