Case of the Petitioner:-

The petitioner, Smt.Sameera K.C, Ponmundam P.O, Tirur, Malappuram district, comes under the jurisdiction of Electrical section Ponmundam, complaints that an excess bill of Rs4237/- has been issued to her as against the usual bill which used to be in between Rs600/- and Rs1200/- The petitioner is in fact shocked at the issuance of latest bill. More over, he does not use any appliances consuming high energy. A complaint to this effect was lodged in the Electrical section Ponmundam but no action has been taken nor any representative of the licensee visited the site. The licensee states that the excess bill was revised as per the existing rules and the consumer is satisfied. Therefore the petitioner has decided to withdraw the petition filed. Under this circumstances, it is humbly prayed that the petition may be closed.
