Route Description: A perfect route for beginners and families which uses the canal tow path for the first half of the ride and quiet country roads for the second half of the ride.

A. From Cavendish car park exit onto the canal towpath and turn right and travel south along the canal. CAUTION as low bridge with narrow path, watch out for oncoming walkers or cyclists.

B. You will cross the road going into the village of Bradley, continue in southerly direction along the canal for 3km.

(*) Look out for Bluebell Woods in between Bradley and Kildwick (*) Cafes/Pubs C. You will arrive in Kildwick, and cross the swing bridge and turn right onto Main Street, travel down this road and go through the - Skipton tunnel, Keep going along Main Street past the White Lion pub, cross the river there is a bridleway on your right hand side, turn Highstreet various onto this. - Low Snaygill D. Travel along the bridleway under the main road to avoid the roundabout. Turn right onto Station Road and stay on this road Bay Horse (01756 797711) for 0.6km. - Low Bradley E. F. Turn right onto Road and stay on this road for 2km - Kildwick

At the t-junction in Cononley, turn left onto Main Street, stay The White Lion (01535 632265) on this road for 0.25km, bearing left onto Skipton Road and follow this undulating road for 4km to Skipton - Cononley H. Turn right at T junction with Carleton Road and then follow The Railway Inn (01535 637221) this to the traffic lights by Tesco garage,
