Received: 27 February 2013; in revised form: 11 April 2013 / Accepted: 24 April 2013 / Published: 6 May 2013 Abstract: This paper presents current research on Danish municipalities’ use of Energy Service Companies (ESCO) as a way to improve the standard of public buildings and to increase energy efficiency. In recent years more and more municipalities have used ESCO-contracts to retrofit existing public buildings, and to make them more energy efficient. At the moment 30 municipalities (of the 98 municipalities in Denmark) are involved in, or preparing, ESCO contracts. Nevertheless, ESCO-contracting still faces many challenges on the Danish market, as there is a widespread skepticism towards the concept amongst many stakeholders. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the various experience gained so far by municipalities use of ESCO-contracting, the different approached to ESCO-contracting being used in practice, as well as the different viewpoints drivers and barriers behind the development. -

Hammerum (Copenhagen S, Odense, Aalborg, Copenhagen, Herlev, Hillerød, Hvidovre, Vejle, Slagelse, Herning, Aarhus, Esbjerg, Viborg, DK) Objectives: In many European countries an increase in carbapenem non-susceptible Pseudomonas aerugionosa has been observed. Until 2011, no systematic data from Denmark had been registered, so a consecutive collection of carbapenem resistant P. aeruginosa was enacted, to investigate the carbapenem resistance mechanisms in Danish P. aeruginosa isolates. Methods: From January 1st 2011 through June 30th 2011, 116 nonreplicate, non-cystic fibrosis related P. aeruginosa isolates with reduced carbapenem susceptibility were collected from 12 out of 13 Danish Departments of Clinical Microbiology. The presence of acquired beta- lactamases was assessed using a combination tablet method, and the isolates were antimicrobial susceptibility tested against relevant antipseudomonal agents. Beta-lactamase subgroup specific PCR assays, subsequent sequencing analysis as well as an efflux pump inhibitor assay were performed. Results: Eight isolates produced the metallo-betalactamase VIM-2 and one isolate produced both OXA-10 and a VEB-group enzyme. Furthermore, 67 isolates displayed a derepressed AmpC phenotype, deduced from cloxacillin or boronic acid synergy with either ceftazidime or meropenem. Phenotypic indications of increased efflux pump activity were seen in 44 isolates. Efflux and AmpC positive results occurred more frequently in isolates resistant to both meropenem and imipenem than in isolates resistant only to imipenem. -

Appendix 6.1 Long list of cumulative projects considered within the EIA Report GoBe Consultants Ltd. March 2018 List of Cumulative Appendix 6.1 Projects 1 Firth of Forth and Tay Offshore Wind Farms Inch Cape Offshore Wind (as described in the decision notices of Scottish Ministers dated 10th October 2014 and plans referred to therein and as proposed in the Scoping Report submitted to MS-LOT in May 2017) The consented project will consist of up to 110 wind turbines and generating up to 784 MW situated East of the Angus Coast in the outer Forth and Tay. It is being developed by Inch Cape Offshore Windfarm Ltd (ICOL). This project was consented in 2014, but was subject to Judicial Review proceedings (see section 1.4.1.1 of the EIA Report for full details) which resulted in significant delays. Subsequently ICOL requested a Scoping Opinion for a new application comprising of 75 turbines with a generating capacity of 784 MW. Project details can be accessed at: http://www.inchcapewind.com/home Seagreen Alpha and Bravo (as described in the decision notices of Scottish Ministers dated 10th October 2014 and plans referred to therein and as Proposed in the Scoping Report submitted to MS-LOT in May 2017) The consents for this project includes two offshore wind farms, being developed by Seagreen Wind Energy Limited (SWEL), each consisting of up to 75 wind turbines and generating up to 525 MW.
