The Dogfish made it interesting in the 9th when Suzuki hit a 2 run HR off of Doolittle and brought the tying run to the plate before Doolittle finally closed it out. Congrats to Glen for an amazing season. He had the best team and was only a few timely rolls away from winning. He will be back again next year with another Juggernaut....and the year after that and the year after that. It was a very tight series aside from game 3. Shi-Soo Choo was big knocking in the winning runs in both games 1 and 4. Xander Bogaerts had a huge grand slam in the deciding game. However, the series MVP goes to Max Scherzer who out-dueled Jason deGrom twice. The Hogs are excited to move on to their 8th World Series appearance. It was extra sweet to take down the Dogfish who the Hogs have lost to twice previously in the World Series. I believe it’s the first playoff win ever over the Dogfish. New England and US both have great teams so the Hogs will have to play their best again to have a chance to win. I’m sure the winner will be happy to see the Hogs and not the Dogfish. Best of luck to Bruce and Bill in the NLCS. Ed .
