It is part of the Master of Science program Arena Media, Music and Technology at Luleå University of Technology (LTU). Because of my education and interest in signal processing in media applications, the proposed topic was very well suited. The reader is assumed having basic knowledge about signal processing, such as sampling, quantization, aliasing and so on.
