He resumed that role in 2015 at Le Mans and won the event for the first time when he teamed in the No. 64 Corvette C7.R with Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner. The son of championship- winning driver Wayne Taylor, this second-generation racer literally grew up at race tracks. In addition to endurance duty for Corvette Racing, Taylor is preparing to start his fourth season campaigning for Wayne Taylor Racing in the No. 10 Konica Minolta Corvette Daytona Prototype. He won the 2013 GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series DP championship in 2013 with Max Angelelli when the pairing won five races – including three straight to close season. He drives for the third consecutive year with brother Ricky – also part of the Corvette Racing Le Mans lineup – in the Wayne Taylor Racing Corvette DP. Taylor and co-driver Bill Lester piloted the Autohaus Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro to a runner-up finish in the 2011 Rolex GT championship, just two points short of the title. Taylor is currently pursuing a business marketing degree at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Fla. He is one of the TUDOR Championship’s most avid users of social media including Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Periscope. .
