THE REGISTRATION FOR THE FIRST REAL-LIFE TRADING COMPETITION AT BVB, CONDUS DE RANDAMENT, STARTED TODAY Stock Exchange (BVB) has launched the first real trading competition in called Condus de Randament (Driven by Return). The registration started today and the competition will begin on October 17th, 2016 and end on February 17th, 2017, using the mechanisms and rules of trading on the . The goal for the participants is to gain the highest return on their portfolio. Raiffeisen Bank is BVB’s Main Partner to this project. The return on the investment of the competition participants will be calculated by taking into consideration trades done with shares of one or more of 25 listed companies, which are included in the BET-XT index, namely: Albalact (ALBZ), Antibiotice Iasi (ATB), Banca Comerciala Carpatica (BCC), BRD – Groupe Societe Generale (BRD), BRK Financial Group (BRK), Bursa de Valori Bucuresti (BVB), Conpet (COTE), Societatea (EL), Electromagnetica (ELMA), Fondul Proprietatea (FP), IAR Brasov (IARV), Impact (IMP), Romcab (MCAB), Romcarbon (ROCE), SIF Banat Crisana (SIF1), SIF Moldova (SIF2), SIF Transilvania (SIF3), SIF Muntenia (SIF4), SIF Oltenia (SIF5), (SNG), Nuclearelectrica (SNN), OMV (SNP), (TEL), (TGN) and (TLV). There is no minimum investment required in order to enter the competition. Therefore, the participants are free to apply the investment strategy of their choice, as long as they meet the requirement of performing buy-side transactions worth at least 30,000 lei by February 17th, 2017, the last day of the competition. ‘For the first time in the history of the Romanian capital market we are launching a real-life trading competition with one aim in mind – to further promote to the wide audience that investing on the Bucharest Stock Exchange is an attractive opportunity, especially after this year, when Romanian companies have distributed the highest dividends in the world, on average 8% for BVB’s main index BET. With the launch of Condus de Randament we provide the investors a dedicated infrastructure that gives them a step-by-step guideline for beginning (or continuing) the investment journey and, while at the same time, providing them even more motivation to invest at BVB’, said Lucian Anghel, President of Bucharest Stock Exchange. ‘Condus de Randament is open for everyone – for people with experience or without in investing. The competition is open to any Romanian resident who is at least 18 years old on September 21st, 2016 (inclusive). For entering the competition, the participants have to open a brokerage account with one of the partner intermediaries and register for the competition on the dedicated website, www.condusderandament.ro. The intermediaries that are partners to the competition are: Raiffeisen Bank, Prime Transaction, Estinvest, BT Capital Partners, Super Gold Invest, Muntenia Global Invest, Intercapital Invest, Piraeus Bank, Tradeville. Participants who already have an account open with one of these intermediaries are also eligible to enter the competition.
