  • Facilitation of Information Transfer on Chemicals in Products
Facilitation of Information Transfer on Chemicals in Products The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) developed ‘chemSHERPA’ [kémʃéərpə] as a new information transfer scheme for chemicals in products throughout their supply chains. METI hopes that the dissemination of chemSHERPA may contribute to reduce the workload of both providers and recipients of the information. From the beginning of the development of chemSHERPA, METI has been in communication with international bodies such as the IEC and the IPC, etc., with the aim of developing chemSHERPA into not only a Japanese standard but also an International standard. To make it a de-facto standard, METI has introduced this scheme to international organizations and governments of other countries for their active use. The Joint Article Management Promotion Consortium (JAMP) is a governing body for chemSHERPA from April 2016 and see a shift to chemSHERPA. We believe many companies are preparing towards implementing chemSHERPA. Based on the efforts mentioned above, the following companies and company groups have agreed with the dissemination of chemSHERPA, and METI will continue to work with JAMP and companies to spread the use of chemSHERPA to internal as well as external supply chains as needed.(Please contact us if any company or company group has interest in putting its name below.) It should be noted, the use of the provision of data entry support tools is free of charge in principle with the aim of promoting wider use of chemSHERPA. • CITIZEN MOVEMENT TABLE 1931 to 1977
CITIZEN MOVEMENT TABLE 1931 to 1977 The following movement table summarises the development of mechanical, electro-mechanical and tuning fork wrist watches from the establishment of the Citizen Watch Company in 1931, to 1977. Data has been gleaned largely from reliable Japanese text sources, so there is some scope for error in interpretation Not all movements / models / variants may be listed – others will be added once verified in later versions of the Table. Notes: a) Movements and their respective watch models / variants are entered in chronological order by year of production b) Where information is missing or is not fully confirmed / clear a '?' is entered or follows the data entry c) Model variants / dial markings – markings may be one, or a combination, of the entered data d) 'Phynox', 'Parashock' and 'Parawater' became typical markings so they are not routinely entered in the table beyond the early models e) Where model variants include a water resistant case the depth rating marked on the dial is entered in the dial markings column, e.g. '40m' f) 'Features' are confined to obvious visible characteristics, e.g. date window, to aid identification Serial Numbers & Production Year – in the 1960's Citizen began to use serial numbers from which the production date can be determined. See last page for explanation. Please feel free to download this Table for reference purposes. The file is 'read only' to avoid 'unauthorised' updating/circulation – printing is allowed.
