What: Following a recognition breakfast at the Sheraton in Rocky Hill, 25 trucks have already signed up to make the 21 mile trek from Rocky Hill to Foodshare's distribution center in Bloomfield demonstrating their commitment to fighting hunger in greater Hartford. This Convoy of trucks serves as a visual reminder to all of the challenges faced by 128,000 of our hungry neighbors every single day!

Eighty percent of the food we distribute comes directly from our food industry partners - more than 21 million dollars in- kind each year! As a result, we are able to provide 3 meals for every $1 received, ensuring that all of our hungry neighbors 2013 Food Industry Convoy of Caring have better access to the resources they need most.
