(Sports Section) (Seal) IMPORTANT RULES AND REGULATIONS IN CONNECTION WITH PARTICIPATION IN THE INTER-COLLEGIATE TOURNAMENT FOR THE YEAR 2017-2018 1. Colleges affiliated to the Bankura University are entitled to participate in this inter-collegiate tournament. A letter of entry would be required from the Head of the institution for the participation in the tournament (letter should reach the Bankura University before the closing date of entry for a particular tournament mentioned in the sports calendar). However, the college authorities are also requested to mail their consent in this E-mail ID: [email protected] as early as possible. Failure to submit entry letter in proper time may not enable us to give you necessary clearness to participate in the tournament. 2. All the 1st year undergraduate students who have registered themselves under the Bankura University are eligible to participate in this tournament (only Akui Kamalabala Women’s College may send their 2nd year students along with the 1st year). Participant’s name must appear in the Register to the college, affiliated to the Bankura University. Participant who is following a course leading merely to a post graduate diploma course of at least one year duration in the college/ university may take participate in this tournament. A student must produce M.P. Admit Card/ H.S. Mark Sheet, College Admission Bill Book, College Identity Card during the time of inter-collegiate tournament. 3. No student shall be entitled to represents a college if more than 8 years have elapsed since he/she passed Madhyamik Pariksha or other equivalent examination qualifying for first admission to college. Or, 7 years have elapsed since he/she the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination qualifying for first admission to a college. 4. Each college may send a maximum number of 18 footballers and 12 volleyball players in their football and volleyball team respectively. 5. A student following the 3 years degree course shall not be eligible to represent the college if more than 4 years have elapsed since he/she first begun following the degree course. 6. No student shall be eligible to participate in the inter-collegiate tournament if he/she has completed the age of 28 years on the 1st July of that academic year. 7. Employed students would not be eligible to participate in the inter-collegiate tournament. 8. Each playing member of the team participating in inter-collegiate tournament shall produce Identity Card from the respective colleges, which shall have the following: a) Photography of the player and his/her signature attested by the Principal under seal. The signature of the attested authority must be on the photograph. 9. Each team participating in the inter-collegiate tournament must accompany with Teacher/Physical Instructor/Games-in-Charge/Staff during the tournament otherwise the team will be treated as cancelled. 10. For protest a fee of Rs. 1000 (Rupees One Thousand) only along with authentic documents to be deposited to the Games-in-Charge by the protested colleges within 2 hours of completion of the match.
