Media Release MEDIA RELEASE 5 November 2015 ALITALIA AND AIR SERBIA ENHANCE TRAVEL OPTIONS IN EUROPE WITH EXPANDED CODESHARE AGREEMENT Alitalia and Air Serbia have expanded their codeshare agreement to provide air travellers with enhanced connections between Italy and Serbia, and further across Europe and the Middle East. As part of the deal, Alitalia will place its “AZ” flight code on Air Serbia’s services between Belgrade and eight international destinations, including, Athens, Berlin, Istanbul, Stuttgart, Thessaloniki, Tirana, Vienna and Abu Dhabi (effective 10 November), to increase the total number of codeshare destinations with Air Serbia to 20. In turn, Air Serbia will place its “JU” flight code on Alitalia’s domestic services between Rome, Perugia and Pescara, as well as on international flights between Milan and Abu Dhabi. The codeshare also covers flights from Rome’s Fiumicino airport to 14 cities including Abu Dhabi (from 10 November), Athens, Berlin, Bilbao, Düsseldorf, Istanbul, Malaga, Malta, Marseille, Nice, Tel Aviv, Tirana, Toulouse and Valencia, to bring the total number of codeshare destinations with Alitalia to 37. All existing services between Italy and Serbia, operated by the two national airlines, are already part of the codeshare agreement. John Shepley, Chief Strategy & Planning Officer of Alitalia said: “Italy and Serbia share strong ties in terms of business and commercial trade, as well as tourism. Thanks to the expanded codeshare agreement, Alitalia will witness new traffic flows, of both leisure and business travellers between Italy, Serbia and beyond.” Dane Kondić, Chief Executive Officer of Air Serbia, said: “We are excited to strengthen our codeshare agreement with Alitalia to provide business and leisure travellers with more choice and convenience when flying on our respective networks. This development has 1 MEDIA RELEASE considerably deepened our European network and at the same time made Italy more accessible to Air Serbia’s guests, who can now take advantage of easy connections over Rome to 16 destinations in Italy and abroad. We last expanded the agreement in September 2015 and to see such growth in our cooperation in just one month is fantastic.” The new codeshare flights are available for sale on the airlines’ websites, www.airserbia.com and www.alitalia.com, as well as through travel agents. - ENDS - About Alitalia Alitalia - Società Aerea Italiana (alitalia.com ) is Italy’s largest airline and commenced operations on January 1, 2015 after acquiring the operational activities of Alitalia - Compagnia Aerea Italiana, now named CAI. FlyQuiet Programme A quieter Heathrow FlyQuiet league table – Q3 2016 Overview The Fly Quiet Programme is one of the steps Heathrow is taking to reduce aircraft noise, set out in ‘A quieter Heathrow’. It is intended to further encourage airlines to use quieter aircraft and to fly them in the quietest possible way. The league table The Fly Quiet league table is published every quarter comparing each of the top 50 airlines (according to the number of flights to and from Heathrow per year) across six different noise metrics. Where the table shows amber dots, the airlines have met Heathrow’s minimum performance targets and green dots show they have exceeded them. If the airline has a red dot in a particular area, we work closely with them to improve performance. Highlights – Q3 2016 • Number of super-quiet Airbus A350 flights more than doubles as Qatar Airways becomes the third airline to fly the new plane to Heathrow • Singapore Airlines climb 21 places to 19th, thanks to cleaner, quieter aircraft and improved performance • British Airways short-haul remains the leading quiet airline, while Etihad Airways and Qantas move into the top 5 1 2 3 4 5 6 Chapter CDA Track keeping Rank Airline name QC/seat number violations violations Pre-0430 Pre-0600 1 British Airways - short haul 2 Aer Lingus 3 Etihad Airways 4 Emirates 5 Qantas Airways 6 American Airlines 7 United Airlines 8 Scandinavian Airlines System 9 Malaysia Airlines 10 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines 11 Cathay Pacific Airways 12 Virgin Atlantic Airways 13 Air Malta 14 Delta Air Lines 15 British

Air Serbia plans to start flying to New York this summer, and aims to add another four new markets to its network. The airline, in which Etihad holds a 49 per cent stake, said on Wednesday that revenue was up 16 per cent last year to €305m thanks to an increase in passenger numbers. Last year, Air Serbia carried 2.55 million passengers, an 11 per cent year-on-year increase over 2014. The seat load factor, a measure of filled seats compared to available seats, rose to 71 per cent, up from 67 per cent in 2014.
