Full details of the Defendants are set out in the appendix hereto. For the avoidance of doubt, this notice of discontinuance applies only to the claims specified herein and, in particular, does not affect and is without prejudice to any claim (whether or not similar in theory or otherwise to the claims specified herein) (the “non-BVI Court claims”) which have been brought or may be brought against the Defendants herein in any other jurisdiction arising out of or connected with their investments in the Claimant, or any proceedings (in any jurisdiction whatsoever) to enforce any judgments obtained in any such non-BVI Court claims. Such non-BVI Court claims shall include, without limitation, any claim brought in the United States which relates to moneys paid over to the Defendants which are the subject matter of the claims in respect of which this Notice of Discontinuance is filed. Introduction It well known that Anegada has globally important biodiversity. Indeed, biodiversity is the basis for most livelihoods; supporting fisheries and leading to the attractiveness that is such a draw to visitors. Over the last three years (2003-2006), a project was undertaken on Anegada with a wide range of activities focussing towards this Biodiversity Action Plan. From the outset it was known that the island hosts a globally important coral reef system, regionally significant populations of marine turtles, is of regional importance to birds and supports globally important endemic plants. The project arose following the encouragement of Anegada community members and subsequent extensive consultation between Dr. Godley (University of Exeter) and heads of BVI Conservation and Fisheries Department (CFD) and BVI National Parks Trust (NPT) who requested that funding be sourced for a project which: 1. Introduction The Climate Change Adaptation in the Fisheries Sector of the Eastern Caribbean Project (CC4FISH) is being implemented from 2017-2020 by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)/ Western Central Atlantic Fishery Commission (WECAFC) and national fisheries authorities in the seven project countries, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis (SKN), Saint Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago. CC4FISH aims to increase resilience and reduce vulnerability to climate change impacts in the Eastern Caribbean fisheries sector through introduction of adaptation measures in fisheries management and capacity building of fisherfolk and aquaculture farmers. It is funded by the Global Environment Facility. The Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI) has been contracted by FAO to undertake the regional implementation of a Vulnerability and Capacity Assessment (VCA) in coastal and fishing communities under CC4FISH. CANARI’s work involves implementation of VCAs in 14 coastal and fishing communities across four target countries, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago, from October 2019 to November 2020. It directly contributes to Component 1 of CC4FISH, which aims to increase understanding and awareness of climate change impacts and vulnerabilities for effective adaptation and resilience building in the Eastern Caribbean fisheries sector. As a key first step, CANARI is supporting the establishment of local field teams and providing training on planning and implementing VCAs in each of the four target countries.

    INFORMATION PAPER United Kingdom Overseas Territories - Toponymic Information United Kingdom Overseas Territories (UKOTs), also known as British Overseas Territories (BOTs), have constitutional and historical links with the United Kingdom, but do not form part of the United Kingdom itself. The Queen is the Head of State of all the UKOTs, and she is represented by a Governor or Commissioner (apart from the UK Sovereign Base Areas that are administered by MOD). Each Territory has its own Constitution, its own Government and its own local laws. The 14 territories are: Anguilla; Bermuda; British Antarctic Territory (BAT); British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT); British Virgin Islands; Cayman Islands; Falkland Islands; Gibraltar; Montserrat; Pitcairn, Henderson, Ducie and Oeno Islands; Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha; South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands; Turks and Caicos Islands; UK Sovereign Base Areas. PCGN recommend the term ‘British Overseas Territory Capital’ for the administrative centres of UKOTs. Production of mapping over the UKOTs does not take place systematically in the UK. Maps produced by the relevant territory, preferably by official bodies such as the local government or tourism authority, should be used for current geographical names. National government websites could also be used as an additional reference. Additionally, FCDO and MOD briefing maps may be used as a source for names in UKOTs. See the FCDO White Paper for more information about the UKOTs. ANGUILLA The territory, situated in the Caribbean, consists of the main island of Anguilla plus some smaller, mostly uninhabited islands. It is separated from the island of Saint Martin (split between Saint-Martin (France) and Sint Maarten (Netherlands)), 17km to the south, by the Anguilla Channel.
