INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY ACTIVITIES On your own or with your family: Reflect on a time of grief, unknown, or difficulty in your life. How did you sense God’s presence with you during that time? What is one way this week that you can more deeply love and trust God? The people in your life? Read Psalm 139 a few times this week. Reflect on how you sense God’s presence with you throughout the week. During this time of physical distancing, we are worshiping together in person at 8:15 and 10:45, or you may join us virtually on our fbcjc.org website, FBC YouTube channel, or our First Baptist Church—FBCJC Facebook Page. Today’s worship guide provides an outline of the service and suggested activities for individuals and families for this week. Worship through Giving // Online at fbcjc.org/give-online or mail your check into the church office at 301 E. Capitol Ave. Jefferson City, MO 65101. Scripture Reading - Philippians 2:13; John 1:5 When all I see is the mountain, You see a mountain moved. And as I walk through the shadow, Your love surrounds me. Song - Way Maker There's nothing to fear now, for I am safe with You. (Words and music: Egbu; © 2016 Sinach CCLI #784796) Even when I don’t see it, You’re working. So when I fight, I'll fight on my knees Even when I don’t feel it, You’re working. With my hands lifted high. You never stop, you never stop working! Oh God, the battle belongs to You. And every fear I lay at Your feet, You are here, moving in our midst; I worship You, I worship You. I'll sing through the night, You are here, working in this place; I worship You, I worship You. Oh God, the battle belongs to You. You are Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, And if You are for me, who can be against me? Light in the darkness, My God, that is who You are. For Jesus, there's nothing impossible for You You are here, touching ev’ry heart; I worship You, I worship You. When all I see are the ashes, You see the beauty You are here, healing ev’ry heart; I worship You, I worship You. Thank You, God You are here, turning lives around; I worship You, I worship You. When all I see is a cross, God, You see the empty tomb. You are here, mending ev’ry heart; I worship You, I worship You. Almighty fortress, You go before us, Nothing can stand against the power of our God. Welcome and Prayer You shine in the shadow, You win every battle, Nothing can stand against the power of our God. Song - My Jesus, I Love Thee (Gordon/Featherstone; CCLI #784796) My Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou are mine; Message - God Is at Work in the Unknown For Thee, all the follies of sin I resign; Genesis 41:29-30, 33-41 My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou; Hannah Coe If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ‘tis now. Song - Simply Trusting I love Thee because Thou hast first loved me, (Words and Music: Edgar Stites, Ira Sankey; arr. Don Hart; © 1978 Triune And purchased my pardon on Calvary’s tree; Music; CCLI license #784796) I love Thee for wearing the thorns on Thy brow; Simply trusting every day, trusting through a stormy way; Even when my faith is small, trusting Jesus, that is all. If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ‘tis now. In mansions of glory and endless delight, Trusting as the moments fly, trusting as the days go by; Trusting Him whate’er befall, trusting Jesus, that is all. I’ll ever adore Thee in heaven so bright; And singing Thy praises, before Thee I’ll bow; Singing if my way is clear, praying if the path be drear; If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ‘tis now. If in danger for Him call, trusting Jesus, that is all. Children’s Time - Lisa Anthony Benediction Postlude - Guide Me, O, Thou Great Jehovah (Arr.
